15 Female Celebrities Who Have Shaved Their Heads
It's not uncommon for male stars to shave their heads once their hair stops growing, but when a female celebrity gets a buzz cut, it makes headlines.

Actress Natalie Portman famously shaved her head to play Evey in 2006 film "V for Vendetta." In fact, she shaved it herself on screen in one shot.

Director James McTeigue told USA Today at the time: "She knew the day was coming. I put three cameras on her, made sure the clippers weren't stuck, and then we shaved her head. She loved it and kept rubbing her head."

Portman, who was 24 when she went bald, proved that even women can rock a shave...

Oscar Predictions: Does 'Gravity' Carry Enough Weight?
For the most part, the major categories at the Oscars are fairly easy to predict. But some years there are upset winners (‘Shakespeare in Love,’ Marcia Gay Harden, Juliette Binoche, Adrien Brody, to name a few) that remind us that anything can happen.

This year is a little different. Who remembers a year where the race for Best Picture is down to three films, two of which are so close that they tied at the Producers’ Guild? It seems like there are some definite locks this year (Hello, Cate Blanchett) but you read it here: Nothing is guaranteed. Nothing.

That said, here are the most likely...

Some people were surprised by The Butler’s presence here, but I don’t see any surprises from them. Movies like Gravity and Her (which are frontrunners for a Best Picture nomination) aren’t large cast films, and wouldn’t get the Ensemble nomination over The Butler. The big surprise is Dallas Buyers Club, which is a relatively small cast, and did manage an Ensemble nomination. That could go a long way in getting DBC to a Best Picture nomination. Also, Daniel Bruhl is back in the race with a Supporting Actor nomination for Rush.

Kudos to the SAG members for nominating James Gandolfini for E...

There are many reasons to see 'Blue Jasmine' written and directed by Woody Allen, but the main one is the stunning, complex, Oscar worthy performance by Miss Cate Blanchett.

She portrays Jasmine, a onetime wealthy New York socialite who has lost her money, her home, her husband, (Alec Baldwin) her son and perhaps...her sanity.

We first see Jasmine sitting on an airplane talking non-stop to her seat mate, an elderly woman, who from the expression on her face wishes she would just shut up.

From Jasmine's monologue, we find out that she's on her way to live with her sister, Ginger (Sally Ha...
