Australian actress Claudia Black was born on October 11, 1972, in Sidney, New South Wales. She is most famous to Australian audiences for her role as the hermaphrodite Jill Mayhew in the offbeat crime drama "Good Guys Bad Guys," as well as the role of Angela Kostapas on the television show "City Life." Claudia is best known to American audiences as officer Aeryn Sun on the science-fiction series "Farscape" and as Vala Mal Doran on the TV series "Stargate SG-1." She also has appeared in the films "Amazon High," "Queen of the Damned" and "Pitch Black." Claudia relaxes by doing yoga, listening to music and watching television.
