| I don't think much about Valerie anymore after the comments she made on the Hour, say that she was embarassed for the last 8 years, meaning she is a die hard democrate who was discruntled with the Bush Administration. She has no reason to be embarrased as I am sure the last 8 years where the best years of her life or where they! She sounds like the Dixie Chicks and we all know what happened to them after their comments. I am no longer a fan of hers and alot of people where upset with her comments, she owes the American people an apology. Shame on you Valerie. I am sure that during the Bush years that you prospered very well and should be grateful. | ||

| My name is Dan born in 1960 when I was 17 or 18 years old, I went out on a blind date with Mike and Sandy they set me up with a girl they told me looked just like Valerie Bertinelli. Her name may have been Anne. I do believe it was in Clarkston Michigan where we went t o pick her up. Just as soon as she got into my black Pontiac firebird and looked at me I could not believe my eyes this girl looked Identical to Valerie Bertinelli. And right away we were all in conversation about the fact that she was an identical twin to Valerie! We all had steak dinners at the Airport Inn and all night long I could not take my eyes from the gal who not only was an identical twin but even sounded like Valerie. I have all my life wondered if that was in fact really Valerie Bertinelli. Today I got a brainstorm, find her bio on the internet, and in doing so I found that she had lived with her family in Clarkston Michigan before moving to California. I am hoping that Valerie would read this and let me know if it was her. If not It would be interesting to find her identical look alike who lived in the same area to see if they still look alike! My mind has always told me that blind date was in fact Valerie Bertinelli. On the date she was very courteous and kind and it was a very nice evening. | ||

You just happen to be someone famous and your story is no different than so many non famous people but you do have the media power to encourage people it is never to late to make positive changes. The negative ones will always assume they know the reasons for you're choice to go public with you're life story. Again it falls under the heading of ignorant and jealousy. | ||

I also believe that no matter what age you are if you have the body of a 20 year old than by all means show it off!.I very much disagree with our societys mentality that once a woman reaches 40,she must cover up and look like a grandmother. Bikinis are not just for the very young. It's time for older women to show off their looks if they have it to flaunt. I would like to Thank her for being a CHRISTian in a place where it is not popular to be one in a place we have come to know as "hollyWierd" or "hollyWorld". I saw her on Bio. and an interview after with William S. I was where she is now, not being able to forgive myself. Then one day GOD told me "I have forgiven you!" and who am i not to forgive myself if the LORD thy GOD ALMIGHTY has! Another thing is that I really thought that I always understood about why GOD takes our loved ones, but it was nothing compared to when I watched a video on GODtube (now TANGLE), about a 12 year old boy, they call "Logan the Sky Angel Cowboy", and what he said that GOD told him about losing a loved one. A "must watch video" I could never attempt to try to put it into words. It is "AWESOME", but then our LORD JESUS CHRIST always is! I read some of the comments, there is a song that says "sometimes I like to think about all the things that won't be there-(Heaven), no junk mail in my mailbox!" I think that she is an excellent CHRISTian and role-model especially considering where she works. We can't all be Billy Graham or Joel Osteen or the great Apostle Paul, Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of Life in CHRIST JESUS hath made me free from the LAW of sin and death." | I have been a fan for many years. she reminds me of my sister. However, when I heard her say today on the early show that she was "just like everybody else" i had to laugh. She may have the same issues as far as relationships, weight, children, however, does she know anything about the day to day struggle of most americans? My friend's daughter, who has no health insurance and just incurred about a $50,000 bill? My close friends and relatives who are unable to secure well paying jobs? I don't think so. | ||
