Elizabeth Banks Loved Getting Oiled Up For These Magazine Shots

6/24/2015 9:22pm EDT
Elizabeth Banks
Elizabeth Banks is behind bars in a new shoot for Flaunt Magazine, looking sexy as ever in a somewhat disturbing set of images.

The actress poses in several racy shots with a man with big red hands and a creepy red mask looking like he's violating her somewhat, but she said she enjoyed the shoot.

"I look like I was dipped in Vaseline and loved every second of it!" she exclaimed on Instagram.

The 41-year-old actress recently directed the hugely successful Pitch Perfect 2, and she explained that despite getting the original cast back together for the sequel, she had no problems being the b...

Universal Said To Be Moving Ahead With 'Pitch Perfect 3'
The Bellas will be back.

Pitch Perfect 2 is still in the middle of a wildly successful theater run, already bringing in $160 million and counting at the domestic box office. Now, sources have told the Hollywood Reporter that the film has performed so well that Universal and Gold Circle are already moving ahead on a third installment.

Sources said the studio has opened negotiations with Kay Cannon, who wrote the first two movies, to return for a third. It's not yet known however if co-star Elizabeth Banks will return to direct.

Also up in the air is the status of the franchise's two bigge...

6/9/2015 12:48pm EDT
Mockingjay Part 2
Ready for your very first glimpse at "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2?" Because the first trailer for this November's final "Hunger Games" film has just made its way online. And it's very, very epic.

"Nothing good is safe while Snow's alive," broods Katniss Everdeen (played by Jennifer Lawrence) in the trailer's opening moments. "I can't make another speech about it. Snow has to pay for what he's done."

That's a pretty solid foundation for what we'll be seeing in "Mockingjay- Part 2," based off the latter half of Suzanne Collins' final "Hunger Games" novel, titled "Mockingjay." The...

Elizabeth Banks Throws Shade At Tara Reid For Her Lack Of Succes
Elizabeth Banks is in the middle of a publicity blitz for Pitch Perfect 2, which she directed. That includes an interview this week with The Hollywood Reporter, but it's a statement Banks made about another Hollywood acress that's making the biggest headlines.

In her cover story, Banks recalled struggling to catch her big break in her early days in Tinsel Town.

"There was a group of girls coming up," the 41-year-old Hunger Games star said. "A lot of us are surviving. Some of us are not. I used to go to auditions with Tara Reid. So, you know, we didn't all make it. We're not all still here...

Why Fans Will Love (or Hate) 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part
It's a big weekend for "Hunger Games" fans- after a year of waiting, the final "Hunger Games" film has made it to theaters. And it will make it to theaters again, next year, because paying twice to see two halves of the same movie is the new "it" thing.

But no matter- the first of the last "Hunger Games" films (what?) is here. And given the stampedes that saw "The Hunger Games" and "Catching Fire," it's a safe bet that every theater in the country is about to be stuffed full of frenzied moviegoers (now's as good a time as any to invest in fake butter and Sno-Caps).

Should you join the fr...

Elizabeth Banks
Elizabeth Banks wore a gorgeous red paisley print silk Leonard dress to the premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 Monday night.

The actress found that after the first two films, in which her character Effie Trinket makes references to some of the decor made of mahogany, she tried, but wasn't able to get a line about mahogany into "Mockingjay" because the change in setting from the lush life of the Capitol to the dank, underground bunker lifestyle she's thrust into in District 13, where the revolution against the oppressive President Snow is overseen.

"There's no freaking mahogan...

Celebrities That Turn 40 In 2014

1/1/2014 11:00am EST
Leonardo DiCaprio
Happy New Years everyone and welcome to 2014!

It's that time of year for our annual "who is turning 40" this year extravaganza. Truth is, lots of people do, but we'll just keep it to the more famous variety of peeps in the world.

Doing some simple math, 40 years ago would make it 1974.

For those of you who weren't around that year, the mantra of 74' and the world was energy crisis -gasoline was a little hard to get and lines at gas stations were blocks long. Because of the crisis, our then President, Richard "Tricky Dick" Nixon imposed a 55 MPH speed limit on highways. That wasn't the re...

Fashion Fails: Emily Osment, Liberty Ross, Ke$ha, More

Emily Osment
It's Fashion Fail Time! That means we take a break from letting you know how good all of your favorite stars look to show the other side of fashion: the fails!

Emily Osment wore this stained glass window dress to the Catching Fire premiere, but lucky for her she wasn't the worst-dressed there. Still, the outfit draws way too much to the pattern and not who is wearing it.

Liberty Ross wore this bizarre outfit to a fashion show. It looks like a throwaway ensemble you see on the catwalk every once in a while. The headpiece is the icing on the cake, just hammering home the absurdity of it...

28 Celebrities Who Use Stage Names
Many celebrities have changed their names before they hit it big, and for many reasons. Let's take a look at some of the biggest stars who didn't take their birth name to Hollywood.

Katy Hudson didn't want to be confused with Kate Hudson, so she took her mother's maiden name and became Katy Perry.

Oprah Winfrey's name is iconic, but it's not actually her real name. It's Orpha, after the biblical figure. However, so many people mispronounced her name while she was growing up that the mispronunciation stuck.

Barry Manilow was born Barry Alan Pincus. He took his mother's maiden name...

Banks and her co-stars then jetted to Berlin, Germany, for another premiere on Tuesday. The actress donned a silver strapless beaded dress cinched at the waist with a double belt.

The film centers on Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and fellow tribute Peeta Mellark, who begin a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. A rebel...

19 Celebrities Who Are Older Than You Think
Some stars are blessed with youthful looks: would you believe Jim Parsons is 40? Other stars are blessed with youthful roles: we've seen Tom Welling as a young Clark Kent for so long it's hard to believe he's 36.

Speaking of superheroes, Andrew Garfield was able to pull off a believable high school-aged Peter Parker despite being 28 at the time. He's now 30 and looks like he'll play the role just fine once more. Perhaps his girlfriend Emma Stone, who is 6 years his junior, adds to his youthful appearance!

Here are some more celebrities who are older than you think...

It was a who's who of celebrities at the "PUNK: Chaos to Couture" Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan in New York City on Monday night.

Some stars took the word "costume" very literally, dressing up like punks, teasing their hair, and laying the make-up on heavy. Other celebs opted for more traditional ball gowns.

Katy Perry, above, was the queen of the night, wearing a heavily jeweled dress featuring the Virgin Mary on it.

Metropolitan Museum of Art Director and CEO Thomas P. Campbell explained the punk theme: "Punk's signature mixing of references was fueled by artistic developm...

Movie 43
If you ask us, if Movie 43 is just half as funny as the trailer, it's destined to be a classic. The film's greenband trailer (e.g.: approved-for-all-audiences) premiered during Tuesday night's episode of Tosh.0 on Comedy Central; and on Wednesday the very not-safe-for-work (NSFW) red-band trailer debuted on the network's website (according to...
