NBC Announces New Fall TV Shows, 2011-12 Schedule

NBC just introduced its 2011-12 primetime schedule, showcasing six new dramas and six new comedies from a roster of renowned hitmakers that includes Steven Spielberg, Lorne Michaels, Brian Grazer, Tom Werner, John Grisham and Peter Berg, among many others.

The season's new dramas are "Smash," "Prime Suspect," "The Playboy Club," "Awake," "Grimm" and "The Firm"; and the new comedies are "Up All Night," "Whitney," "Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea," "Free Agents," "Best Friends Forever" and "Bent."

Former Dirt star Laura Allen has given birth to a baby boy.

The actress and her model husband Bruce Weyman welcomed little Harper Edward Weyman into their family on Wednesday night at a Los Angeles hospital. The newborn weighed in at nine pounds, five ounces, reports

A spokesperson for Allen says, "Mother, father and baby are doing well." The couple wed in Italy in 2006.

'Dirt' Star Laura Allen Is Pregnant

Dirt star Laura Allen is expecting her first child with model husband Bruce Weyman. Allen, who acted alongside Courteney Cox in the hit show, has confirmed she is delighted with the news.

She tells, "We are overjoyed to bring the first grandchild into both families this summer. We don't know boy or girl, but we are pretty sure our baby already has a palate for Indian food and Pinkberry (frozen yogurt)."

The couple wed in Italy in 2006, just two days before Allen began work on 'Dirt.'
