Mel Gibson is set to star in the sequel to Robert Rodriguez's violent 2010 action film Machete, according to a report.

The Lethal Weapon actor is in advanced talks to play a supporting role in Machete Kills, reports Deadline.com.

If Gibson does sign on, he won't be the only big movie star to make a cameo appearance in the action film, which stars Danny Trejo as the tough titular character.

Robert De Niro, Jessica Alba and Lindsay Lohan all featured in the first movie.

Jessica, who gave birth to her second daughter, Haven, in August, reveals that losing that extra baby weight was a bit easier this time around.

She tells InStyle, "[When I was pregnant] with Honor, I didn't make the healthiest choices when it came to eating. All of a sudden, I had gained over [60 pounds]. I stopped weighing myself after that. With Haven I didn't gain as much, so [afterward] I was closer to where I felt comfortable in my own skin."
