HBO's 'Boardwalk Empire' & 'Treme' To Return Sept. 16, 23
HBO just released the debut dates for the new seasons of "Boadwalk Empire" and "Treme."
Season three of "Boadwalk Empire" will kick off its 12-episode run on Sunday, Sept. 16, at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Set in the 1920s in the early days of Prohibition, the series chronicles the life and times of “Nucky” Thompson (Steve Buscemi), the undisputed leader of Atlantic City.
The series also stars Kelly Macdonald, Michael Shannon, Shea Whigham, Jack Huston, Stephen Graham, Michael Stuhlbarg, Vincent Piazza, Paul Sparks, Michael Kenneth Williams, Gretchen Mol and Bobby Cannavale.

Spike Lee forced the cast of his war movie Miracle At St. Anna to suffer so much on set, one actor ended up in the hospital. The movie was shot over a wet and cold Italian winter, after actors had been subjected to a grueling and demeaning boot camp, intended to recreate World War II conditions.

Naomi Campbell Replaced By Kerry Washington In A Spike Lee Movie
Supermodel Naomi Campbell has been forced to pull out of director Spike Lee's latest film Miracle At St. Anna due to "scheduling conflicts".
The British catwalk beauty was set to feature in the World War Two drama, which follows a regiment of black soldiers fighting in the conflict, but had to cancel after learning the shoot would clash with other commitments.
Campbell has now been replaced by The Last King of Scotland star Kerry Washington - who has previously worked with Lee in 2004's She Hate Me.
