August 26th, 2009 11:53am EDT
Aldis Hodge - Leverage
Tonight's episode of Leverage (9pm ET on TNT) -- An episode we saw earlier this week and think it's the best episode of the season -- has the team going head-to-head with a rival gang of thieves that features Griffin Dunne and Wil Wheaton. Aldis Hodge -- who plays computer hacker Alec Hardison -- joins us to discuss the current season and to make sure you don't compare the show to "Oceans 11."

Aldis Hodge: Well, all the personality and humor's there; the sarcasm is there. As far as skills as a hacker, he's way ...

Everything Geeky: 'The Guild' Is Not For Geeks Alone

July 29th, 2009 10:59am EDT
The Guild
The San Diego Comic Con was full of celebrities last week, but geekdom has its own celebs that most mainstream people know nothing about. Take "The Guild," for example. It was once a lesser known online sitcom about the lives of MMORPG nerds (online gaming like World of Warcraft), and it has turned into something of a widespread sensation in the geek world. It is now about to go into its third season, and few panels grew so substantially in the past few years as "The Guild." Two years ago people barely knew what it was; this year, it was placed in a large room at con and was completely full...

SuperBad
Making the transition from adolescence into adulthood is a critical phase in an individual's life. According to Arnett's theory, in industrialized societies the types of experiences that people have who are in their late teens to mid-20's have changed dramatically over the past 50 years. Instead of being quick to make that walk down the ...

The Goonies
Sure, it's true that childhood obesity is a serious problem that menaces the health and well-being of many American tots, whose rate of becoming the deep-fried and taterized variety has risen significantly over the past 30 years. Yet, we are not here to discuss alarming statistics or to point fingers (at the fast food industry for example) for America's increasingly doughy population. No siree. Rather, we come here today to raise our soda-filled glasses to pay tribute to all of those wonderful pie-faced kids who have cinematically graced us with their weighty presence over the years. So, he...
