He is an incredible actor and very handsome. I felt it very hypocrytical of his Grey's Anatomy co-stars to jump all over him for using the "f word". When you think of all the racial slurs, the roles he did not get do to his race and he never made a fuss nor did anyone stand up for him. Being pc about gays is new to everyone, give the guy a break. A private, gentle rebuke versus the crusification by his co-workers and then the media was completely out of line and I can't watch the show any more. I can't see the acting anymore, all I see is the scandal.

I have always liked Isaiah Washington. Too bad politics has to enter into the Hollywood arena. Had he not been a brotha (black man), his comments would not have gotten him fired. Isaiah..I loved you in the part you did with Natalie Cole in "Out Numbered, Out Gunned". I love all of your body of work. Hope the best for you and your family. I've coined the phrase "Black-A-Side". Yeah . . . first chance they get to put a black man on the side lines like OJ, Kolby Bryant, Mike Vic, and name any other prominent black male who depicts power today...the status quo will bury them first chance. The status quo can't handle it. You have white men doing all these things but they do not get the wrath of their white counter parts. We will never overcome...remember that my brothas.

Yes, I love Isaiah Washington! There is nothing about the man not to love. He's one of the best and most versitile actors in Hollywood, a great humanitarian, and he's real. I love what he is doing in Sierra Leone. I love even more what he has been doing for years to help mankind even though he does it quietly and humbly. I'm thankful that he is moving on and I look forward to being there to follow his career every step of the way.

I like his courage of moving on. Many a time we never stop to look at setbacks as blessings in disguise, but he has and to me that is a great courage. As a Sierra Leoanean sister to a brother, I say keep your head up, there is a greater and higher heights for you.

I LOVE ISAIAH. I think the show will be at a loss without him. I also think all this fuss about him being racist and homophobic is ridiculous. Its amazing how people are calling him a racist for calling speaking out on the situation. If it was blown out of proportion while he was gagged why can't he tell his side now.

I also wated to let Isaiah know if he reads these that I watched you on larry King last night and see how this has affected you and know that there are millions of fans out there on your side. The show will not be the same without you in it and continue to do what you need to. I would have loved to see you and Christine have a family and all that the two of your characters would have brought to the show as a couple. I liked the personality of your character you were unique. It is going to be a loss to the show. And to the rest of the cast who is open hearted and supportive I cant wait to see the show and am going to remain a fan..and to the ones who arent as supportive .. God forbid you make a mistake and learn how it feels to be judged.

I think that anyone who thinks he deserves being fired over comment is just bitter from problems in there own life.. Someone who has time to come online and put someone down needs to rethink there life..If you want to come on here and extend a hand of support.. now there is your time spent more useful. It should not be a popularity contest.. if this did not happen he would still be on the show.. as far as I am aware of they werent trying to just cut someone from the show.. they did this based on a comment of which never got the facts from and I would do the same wanting my fans and other public to hear my side of the story insted of other peoples mouths running about what I did when they truly dont know what they are talking about..it was hear say not facts.. that got twisted into something that is petty. I have an interacial family and have gay friends and straight friends and this situation is petty and pathedic and should be corrected with an apology and an offer for Isaiah Washington's job back. He was an important charater to the show as anyone is in a hit show...when you remove someone from the original staff how is it going to be viewed as the same hit show we all fell in love with..everytime it is watched dedicated fans are going to remember the browneyes that started drama with Dr. Preston Burke and think about the real reason he is not with us, not that he ran out on Christine but that he was fired for a petty comment. God forsake anyone make a mistake....

I am heartsick that Isaiah Washington did not receive a new contract on Grey's Anatomy. I loved his character! He was a huge part of the make up. The character of George is one I can do without. It doesn't add any depth to the series. Knight as George is playing himself. He looks like a gay guy with girls, he doesn't quite click. His sexual escapades on the series are a joke. They make us all laugh at trying to do what he isn't. Knight's actions to air the "office dirty laundry" proves he has no class and is acting like a weasel. We love you Isaiah, and can't wait till another series picks you up. GET RID OF KNIGHT WHO'S TOTALLY NOT IN SHINING ARMOR. We all think he is a jerk and sucks at acting.
But Isaiah, now you have talent. Bless you.

I think Washington is a jerk-to say that people(obviously white) are intimidated by a 6 ft black man is a joke-while maybe not 6 ft-is anyone intimidated by Denzel Washington,Ediie Murphy,Jamie Foxx,Halle Berry,Samuel L Jackson, etc;? do these people play along to the tune of the white man? These are the comments from a spoiled 3 rd rate actor(although he was good in True Crime),who is a racist himself against gays.So he apologized-he only did so for his career! I hate people(unfortunately, mostly black in this case),who bring out the race card when convienient-I notice that on Grey's Anatomy there are other black star actors, along with an Asian (Oh)-so I cannot possibly feel that there's a vendetta against Isaiah-whether or not he should have been fired is not my place to say-but he's obviously got a major internal personal problem within, and his apology proves that it was all BS,based on his current tirade-could care less one way or the other if I see him again in the industry-too many other good quality people of ALL races to be considered!

Isaiah's recent comments about race being a factor in his release are appauling and rediculous. No one expects a black man in this day to talk like he's fresh off the plantation, what a jerk. He actually made reference to people expecting him to say "Yessa massa sir..." OMG. He's in denial about how he comes across for sure. Frankly, it's racist of him to think that just because he's being let go and people were uncomfortable around him that it's because of his color. Maybe it's because he's beligerent, reactive, and thinks he's better than the average bear. He needs to stop using his race as an excuse for people not putting up with his crap. If your a jerk, it doens't matter what color you are - your still a jerk. The more he talks and rants about this, the worse it will be for his career.

i think the real homophobics are the creators and writers of the show for casting mr. knight in a heterosexual role, do they not think we as viewers would have accepted a gay physician

Isaiah Washington apologized & showed remorse for his action. The show is going to be incomplete without him & I will not longer watch it until he returns.

Isaiah Washington is the new Sidney Poiteri
He is a GREAT actor
The plot of Grey Anatomy of having a homosexual having sex with 3 of the women in the show is super stupid. How can we red blooded rednecks dream of those girls now?
Washington has integrity, class, and skill. Ther other guy is a crybaby in the plot and in real life. He makes me sick always crying about some inflection against him. Crybaby for entertainment on Abc vs REAL MEN? How stupid will they be?

I think Mr. Washington needs to look at the facts. Mr. Knight is more popular than he is, and that was before Mr. Washington said anything anti-gay. If I had to choose someone to leave the show, it would be Mr. Washington. His character was harder to like or get to know. The character of George is lovable and compelling. There are also more story possibilities with Mr. Knight's character than Mr. Washington. If Mr. Washington wants to continue on in the world of show business, he needs to realize that maybe the anti-gay statements had nothing to do with it and the lack of interest in his character is the real reason for him being let go. The anti-gay statements probably helped them make the decision in the end, but I do believe it's more about the storylines and the show.
