Mark Wahlberg narrowly escaped death on the set of Lone Survivor.

Director, Pete Berg claims he spent most of his time trying to prevent the actor whilst filming dangerous scenes in the war-epic, but almost "lost" him following a mishap with explosives.

He told Variety.com: "I did blow him up, by accident .That was close. We almost lost Mark, for real."

However this wasn't the only accident that occurred on the set of the war epic, as a stuntman was left with three broken ribs and a punctured lung after a failed attempt to jump off a cliff.

A Hollywood acting coach who shares the same name as Adrian Grenier's Entourage character has fired off a cease and desist notice to movie executives behind the planned film adaptation of the TV series, amid allegations he is the inspiration for the drama.

Mark and Donnie Wahlberg are set to star in an unscripted reality show based on their family-run restaurant in Massachusetts.

The two brothers recently signed a deal with cable TV network A&E to bring a behind-the-scenes look at their Wahlburgers diner, which opened in 2011; and both will make appearances on the show along with brother Paul Wahlberg, who manages the restaurant.

Actor Mark Wahlberg's burger restaurant Wahlburgers is set to expand into Canada next year (14).

The Ted actor launched the burger joint in 2011 with his brothers Donnie and Paul in Hingham, Massachusetts and business is booming.

The new location will open at Toronto's SoHo Metropolitan Hotel.
