Jon Voight Is 'Happy' For Daughter Angelina Jolie Despite Not Ge
"Ray Donovan" star Jon Voight says that he's happy for daughter Angelina Jolie after the announcement of her surprise wedding to partner Brad Pitt last weekend.

The actor was neither invited nor did he know about the A-list couple's ceremony, which was held at their Château Miraval, France, estate last Saturday, but he had nothing but good things to say when he found out.

"It sounds like it was a wonderful wedding. It must have been very beautiful with the kids participating," the actor said in a statement on Thursday after the news broke. "They were able to do it very quietly. I'm very h...

You can't go one week without hearing a ridiculous story involving some of your favorite celebrities. Thankfully, the Starpulse Rumor Patrol is here to sort out what's real and what's fake.

Jon Voight Boycotts Daughter Angelina Jolie Wedding To Brad Pitt: Many years of estrangement led to speculation that when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt would tie the knot, that Jolie's father, actor Jon Voight, would not attend. But the past few years have brought a softening of father and daughter and the two have spend holidays and birthdays of the Jolie/Pitt brood together. Perhaps, by the time of...

“You should hang your heads in shame. You should all come forth with deep regrets for what you did, and ask forgiveness from the suffering people in Israel.”

Voight also describes the history of the conflict and why people, especi...

'Ray Donovan' Season 2 Episode 4 Recap: Fear Of A Fat Man Falling

Liev Schrieber in Ray Donovan
Before we get to anything else about the charmingly named "S U C K," let's take a moment to celebrate. Grab a drink, grab a loved one, and let's toast to the mystical talking dolphin that continues to be a bigger influence on Mickey Donovan than any of his friends or family.

However, just because "Ray Donovan" made our lives worth living by re-introducing Ghost Dolphin doesn't mean it gets to slack off on crafting a tense and uniquely exciting hour of TV. Because for the most part, "S U C K" was not tense or uniquely exciting.

Just the stuff with Tiny, really (and the dolphin- duh).

'Ray Donovan' Season 2 Premiere Recap: Like Season One, But With
Hey, did you know you can show gratuitous sex and naked people on Showtime? Showtime does. And that's why last night's season premiere of "Ray Donovan," entitled "Yo Soy Capitan," opened with the series' two leads (that would be Ray Donovan and his dad, Mickey), in various stages of doin' it.

Also, both Ray, played by Liev Schrieber, and Mickey, played by Jon Voight, start off the premiere with their own individual dream sequences. And as is completely typical of "Ray Donovan," Ray gets the less interesting, slightly generic one, while Mickey gets the one that is completely nutso and thus ...

'Ray Donovan' 1.7 and Whitey Bulger

Ray Donovan
Just as Showtime's Ray Donovan is really picking up steam, the Whitey Bulger trial in Boston comes to a head with a verdict.   Showtime must be delighted with the coincidence - it almost makes up for the Showtime (Viacom-CBS) dispute with Time Warner which has deprived New York City viewers of Ray Donovan, Dexter, and much more.  On that issue, I say a pox on both your houses - Viacom and Time Warner, you both are worth billions, give the viewers a break, one or both of you accept a little less, and get on with it.  (See my comments on this in The Christian Science Monitor.)  But I digress-...

Despite the secret, Voight has "absolute" respect f...

With football season right around the corner, it's time to take a look back at the way Hollywood has immortalized coaches over the years. While most football movies focus on the players, a few have turned their eyes to the men (and women) calling the shots, giving us several good and bad portrayals of coaches.

Tony D'Amato, "Any Given Sunday"

Oliver Stone's let's-throw-it-all-together-and-see-what-sticks football opus has its faults, but one of them is not Al Pacino's performance as the coach of the beleaguered Miami Sharks. Stone coaxes one of Pacino's last great efforts by allowing...

We just went through the most fascinating and compelling election season ever in the television age. A lot of people are glad it's over, but there are those who simply can't get enough of the entertainment that is politics.

So the last respite for these political junkies is the political movie. But which to choose? Th...

Writer's Opinion: Angelina Jolie Isn't That Hot

I think Angelina Jolie was always thought of as pretty, a nice looking girl. No, I know exactly what happened. Tomb Raider happened. The smash hit video game that introduced geeks worldwide to Lara Croft became the movie that turned Angelina Jolie from above...
