If Reece Thompson's appearances on such popular television shows as Tru_Calling, The_4400, and Smallville didn't get him noticed by viewers, then his role as a stuttering teen who joins the debate team to win the heart of a high-school beauty in director Jeffrey_Blitz's quirky comedy drama Rocket_Science is sure to do the trick. A prolific television actor whose performances in such family-friendly shows as Zixx, Trollz, and Three_Moons_Over_Milford served well to build him a healthy young fan base, Thompson was looking toward a fairly luminous future by the time he was cast in his first leading-man role. While the part of a stuttering teen seeking to impress a pretty classmate might not have been the most glamorous role a young actor could hope for, it did allow Thompson to prove that he had something more to offer the screen than just another pretty face.
