In Westside Story I thought he was sooooo cute! I had no understanding when he was killed in the movie. I was very young lol. Anyways my mother had to make me understand it was fake but seeing it 3 more times I still cried. He was my first crush EVER! That is what I'll always remember about him. Now in my 40's I still watch that movie and still love the first dance " Beat It"! And I might say for his age he still looks good. You can still see the Riff in him. I would love to see him on Dancing With The Stars one season. HINT. I betcha he could win the ball HINT HINT

At his best in Peyton Place and 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. I did not like it when he smoked in B movies, later on. A great looking, personable actor, and a phenomenal dancer. With better direction, he should have won the Oscar in West Side Story, and beaten George Chakiris.
