| Patrick Swayze was my hero and I have been a fan of his for the last 20 years.He was a remarkable,courageous and brave man who fought his illness to the bitter end.He was an extremeley talented man,he could dance,act and sing and he will always be remembered for his great performances in Dirty Dancing and Ghost.He was a great man who will never be forgotten by his fans.God bless you Patrick and thankyou for the great memories you left me,you will always have a place in my heart. | ||

| I think its a real tradgedy that Patrick is gone. He was a heck of an actor. I wish only the best for his wife and family. I know how hard it is to lose a loved one to cancer. | i met patrick swayze when he was in toronto ontario canada in a resterant when he was doing a flim at the time i was about 13 and had no idea who he was i went outside and watched him filming i fell in love with u than and have watched everything u have done since i think its great u married the love of ur life at 23 yrs old i had breast cancer and at 30 had both breasts removed because of cancer i made it after being on life support ect from the operation u r the greatest guy that there is i believe if any1 can make it u can u and lisa look great 2gether and i pray u both have many many yrs 2gether still dont give up it would b the whole worlds lost hang in there and please dont give up u can beat this i love u dearly lisa hang in there he loves u dearly every1 can c it everytime he looks @ u michelle gratton id love 2 hear from u take care both of u | ||

| Patrick is a wonderful actor and person. Losing him to pancreatic cancer reminds me of the loss of Michael Landon when he, too, succombed to the terrible disease. Patrick has made me laugh, cry, dance and sing. Twenty plus years later, I am still stirred with his acting ability and his beautiful voice. I hope in whatever lies ahead, Patrick finds peace in knowing that he has touched so many in such a short span. We will carry a part of him in our hearts forever. | ||

As an actor he is fantastic. As a dancer, I could watch him all day and night! He is a real person, and we should all be so lucky to be so loved! My dream would be to meet him, just to look into his eyes (soul). God only made one of him! Lisa and Patrick are made for each other. How many of us have had that in our lives? To say I love him, would be an understatement. Can't wait for his Memoir's to come out. I have loved every one of his movies! He is tender enough to do Ghost, and secure enough to do To Wong Foo. Dirty dancing is my favorite. I get lost in his eyes. Watching him takes me to a place where there are no problems, or heartache. I lost my husband to the same damned disease and sometimes I just curl up with his movies and am able to pretend it never happened. Thank you Patrick for all you have given us! You are so loved! | i have been a fan of patricks and still cant get enough of dirty dancing and when i see pictures of him even now in his ill state it still makes my tummy feel like butterflies when i was a child i would fantasize that i was his gal . the passion he bestowes upon his fans is tear jerking and overwhelmingly exicitng and since i cant have my child fantasy my adult fantasy is just to meet him and to thank him for the dramatic and intense feeling of compassion and thats how i want to be to just humanity patrick swayze you are my role model and all things happen for a reason so ty | ||

i have been a huge Patrick fan ever since the mini series "North and South". It bothers me sometimes that is never mentioned in his accolades. He was so good in that, another favorite besides all of the obvious is "3 Wishes" a wonderful family Christmas movie. I bought a biography of him back in the late 80's; still have it. I just think he is a wonderful person. I am, however disappointed that he is still smoking as I had a sister who died of liver and pancreates cancer caused from smoking. I am an ex-smoker (quit 26 years ago so I know how hard it is) My prayers are with he and Lisa. I don't want to see either of them suffer through this | ||

| I think that it is a good thing that he does not have kids! They are great, but to have to deal with this ordeal would be very hard on everyone. I wish you the best and long healthy living. I lost my husband to cancer when he was 30 years old, and I was 28. Seven years of fighting cancer is not an easy thing to watch.... It makes both look and feel different because of the circumstances. Each partner has to face the truth and reality, but not to give in to it until the time comes. Mrs. Swayze can always adopt children after if that is what she really wanted, children. I have a thirteen year old son now from Vietnam, and he is my world! Without him my life would feel empty. Joy and the chance to give someone a home and happiness will help get through the rough spots. You can always write me if you need to vent... Carolyn | ||

I just finished watching the Barbara Walter's special about Patrick and Lisa and I wish I could tell him just how brave and strong,kind and gentle, he is....I have long been a fan but even more since he has been sick. Cancer is such a terrible disease, there can't be one person in this world who hasn't been touched by it somehow. He looks so tired, but he fights so hard and I only pray that he has good days and a lot of days ahead for both of them. It would be so wonderful if he beat this...if attitude and strong will could do so, Patrick would beat this monster hands down. Love and prayers are with you Patrick and Lisa. Karen. | ||
