'Top Gear' (UK) Recap: 'Series 22, Episode 2' - Jack Bauer Takes Dunsfold

'Top Gear' (UK) Recap: 'Series 22, Episode 2' - Jack Bauer Takes
This week on Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson moves his eyes, Richard Hammond vandalizes a road, and James May says "Cow!" It's the show's Australian Outback adventure, while Jack Bauer himself - actor Kiefer Sutherland - is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

Jeremy boldly opens the show by throwing a mobile phone into a toilet, as an example of how most electronic devices aren't that reliable - except for, of course, cars. The Top Gear producers, naturally, have disagreed and ordered the presenters to take three vehicles and head to Australia.

James is disappointed because he thought they sai...

'Transformers,' Cameron Diaz Rack Up Multiple Razzie Awards (See the Complete List)

'Transformers,' Cameron Diaz Rack Up Multiple Razzie Awards
We're currently entrenched in awards season; the time of year when everyone gathers 'round to explain which movies of the past year were the best, and why.

And one brave group gathers to do the exact opposite.

That's right, it's Razzie time!

The nominations for this year's Razzie awards have been announced in full, proclaiming the absolute worst crap that's been shoveled into theaters this year.

As has quickly become the norm, last year's "Transformers" installment, "Transformers: Age of Extinction," has racked up seven nominations, including Worst Picture, Worst Director and Worst Scre...

19 Celebrities Who Are Balding & Battling Receding Hairlines
It's a well-known secret that many male celebrities are just as vain as the women. And when their hair starts to thin and disappear, a lot of them take steps to make it stop.

Take John Travolta, for example. He no longer has a naturally thick head of hair. He's losing it. But his hairstylist is doing something to make him appear like he did in "Grease."

The following celebs have not given in to baldness. But oftentimes it's difficult to prevent a receding hairline from taking over...

No Butts About It: 30 Celebrity Smokers

No Butts About It: 30 Celebrity Smokers
Everyone knows smoking is bad, but many celebrities can't help lighting up. Maybe they have a tough time quitting the habit, or perhaps they smoke to keep off the weight. A cheeseburger is worse than a cigarette, right?

It may surprise you that some of these stars smoke - others you won't find so shocking.

Keira Knightley is a smoker, and it's probably part of the reason why she's so thin. She's also been accused of having an eating disorder. Early in 2014 she admitted that her grandmother and great-grandmother had anorexia but denied suffering from the disease herself. Either way, both h...

6 Things We Wish Had Happened On TV

August 18th, 2014 12:03pm EDT
6 Things We Wish Had Happened On TV
As the Rolling Stones once sang, you can't always get what you want. And so it is for TV as well. For a variety of reasons - network decisions, production demands, behind the scenes developments - sometimes what happens or doesn't happen isn't what we would've wanted. Even though that might have been a good thing, even if we completely understand why, we can't help but wonder 'what if.'

This TV season has had quite a few of those moments, whether it's plot twists that broke our hearts, cancellations we wish we could reverse, or just things we would have enjoyed seeing even if they had no r...

'24' Co-Stars Defend Kiefer Sutherland Following Freddie Prinze, Jr. Attack

July 30th, 2014 9:21am EDT
'24' Co-Stars Defend Kiefer Sutherland Following Freddie Prinze,
Even though Freddie Prinze, Jr., didn't have a pleasant experience working with Kiefer Sutherland on "24," other co-stars apparently did.

Earlier this week, Prinze, Jr., revealed to ABC News that he almost quit acting after working with Sutherland on the hit FOX series. He slammed the lead actor's professionalism and claimed he was forced to remove his shoes in scenes with Sutherland so he didn't tower over him.

On Monday, Sara Gilbert and Aisha Tyler defended Sutherland on their daytime talk show "The View," and fellow "24" star Louis Lombardi has also come forward to lend his support.

Kiefer Sutherland Addresses Those Nasty Comments From Freddie Prinze Jr.

Kiefer Sutherland
Kiefer Sutherland's rep has addressed comments that actor Freddie Prinze, Jr. made about the "24" star over the weekend that weren't too kind.

After revealing that Sutherland was very difficult and "unprofessional" to work with during an interview with ABC News Radio at Comic Con while promoting his new show "Star Wars Rebels."

Prinze Jr. said that his experience working with Sutherland "was terrible" and that he "hated every moment of it" and "wanted to quit the business after that."

"Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world," he said. "That's not me talking trash; I'd say i...

Kiefer Sutherland Made Freddie Prinze Jr. Want To Quit Acting
Freddie Prinze Jr. was at Comic-Con to talk about his role in the upcoming Star Wars: Rebels animated series, but he couldn't help himself from talking about what made him almost quit acting.

While talking with ABC about the show and his break from acting, he said, "I did 24, it was terrible. I hated every moment of it. Kiefer [Sutherland] was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That's not me talking trash, I'd say it to his face, I think everyone that's worked with him has said that. And I just wanted to quit the business after that... so I just sort of stopped.

'24: Live Another Day' Finale Recap And Review: '10:00 PM - 11:00 AM' - Two Deaths And A Cliffhanger

July 15th, 2014 8:29am EDT
'24: Live Another Day' Finale Recap And Review: '10:00 PM - 11:0
Here we are: the 24: Live Another Day finale. The conclusion to the event series we waited months for and have bitten our nails over for weeks. Thirteen hours of story time condensed into forty-five minutes of air time. The final end to the 24 saga, or is it? This show goes out the way it came in: a mixed bag of great things and not-so-great ones, not quite reaching its former glory but still damned entertaining.

Picking up exactly where we left off, Audrey realizes that her friend isn't dead, just bleeding to death. When she tries to move to help her, the sniper does the obvious thing an...

'24: Live Another Day' Recap And Review: '9:00 PM - 10:00 PM' - One To Go

July 8th, 2014 9:33am EDT
'24: Live Another Day' Recap And Review: '9:00 PM - 10:00 PM' -
When we left 24: Live Another Day, Jack Bauer's worst enemy was trying to start the next international war. In this next-to-last episode, we discover that he's even ticked off at his own country now, that you can't keep a good actor off camera, and that Audrey and Mark's marriage is probably doomed. Or at least, Mark is doomed. And no one much cares.

Hey, this week we actually get to see Philip Winchester and not just hear him. Someone please give this man a gun and let him go save some lives. He's definitely needed, because there's a Chinese carrier sinking, and Jack and Kate are still en...

'24: Live Another Day' Recap And Review: '8:00 PM - 9:00 PM' - Welcome Back, China

July 1st, 2014 8:25am EDT
'24: Live Another Day' Recap And Review: '8:00 PM - 9:00 PM' - W
With only three episodes to go - and one massive time jump ahead in the series finale - it's time (no pun intended) to start wrapping things up on 24: Live Another Day. The writers accomplish this by reaching back into their toy box by bringing back another old adversary, and setting up a new storyline that might be hard to definitively close by season's end.

Jack reveals to a shocked Kate that her boss is one of the bad guys, and that he's currently on the run with the control device that can do a lot more than just commandeer drones. Cut to Navarro, who's officially setting up a meeting ...

'24: Live Another Day' Episode 6 Recap: '4:00 PM - 5:00 PM'
First of all: isn't it wild that we're already halfway through 24: Live Another Day? After the months we spent waiting excitedly for Jack to come back, how time flies. But some things stay the same, including something that you're either going to love or hate.

We open in the immediate aftermath of last week's major explosion, finding out pretty quickly that Navarro and Erik are still alive, but that a bunch of other CIA agents are not so lucky. The ambush doesn't go over well with anybody on the political side of things, and Prime Minister Davies gets even more upset when his aide Caroline...

'24: Live Another Day' Recap: '1:00 PM - 2:00 PM'

May 13th, 2014 10:14am EDT
'24: Live Another Day' Recap: '1:00 PM - 2:00 PM'
When Jack Bauer made his triumphant return last week, 24: Live Another Day wasn't without its flaws, but it was still pretty damn enjoyable. The season's third episode tones down the action that propelled the first two hours, and treats us largely to backstory for characters who are still not quite convincing, except for the show's trademark habit of making the final few minutes count for something.

Jack and Chloe find the corpse of Derek Yates, easily deducing that it was Yates' lady friend Simone that did him in, and they set off in pursuit of her. At the same time, CIA would-be hotshot ...

'24: Live Another Day' Recap: '11:00 AM - 12:00 PM/12:00 PM - 1:
When 24 departed our screens four years ago, it was bittersweet. One of TV's best dramas was ending - but it concluded on its weakest season. The idea of bringing it back, then, was exciting for both the show and for the institution of television alike. Could the writers restore our faith after that subpar final adventure? And would the return give hope to other previously completed shows that they, too, could write one more chapter? (NBC didn't waste much time in following after FOX, deciding to revisit Heroes.) There's a lot riding on Jack Bauer's shoulders here, on-screen and off.

20 Celebrities You Didn't Realize Have A Twin Sibling
Hollywood is full of famous twins, including Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Tia & Tamera Mowry, and Cole and Dylan Sprouse. But there are also several stars with not-so-famous twin siblings.

Movie icon Scarlett Johansson and her brother Hunter were born in New York City. Hunter occasionally joins his sister on the red carpet for the various events she attends in Tinsletown and all over the world. He told People of his sis in 2009: "She's set me up on dates. It wasn't with anybody famous. It was with some school friends – all very beautiful, wonderful girls."

9 Hollywood Stars You Didn't Know Were In Your Favorite Video Ga
As video game sales continue to rival or even surpass Hollywood box office receipts, plenty of famous actors and actresses are crossing over to lend their talents to another industry. Funny thing is though, you might not even realize it. Plenty of game companies have recruited Hollywood stars to serve as voice actors for their top titles. Sometimes the star's in-game character is rendered after their real world appearance, but more often than not, the game will feature a character that looks nothing like the voice actor, leaving the most casual fans in the dark about who was behind the mic....

14 Beloved Celebrities Who Have Been In Jail
Nobody's perfect, but it may surprise you to learn some the world's most beloved celebrities have spent time in jail.

Mark Wahlberg is a blockbuster star loved by many now, but in his teens he was a very trouble young man. A drug-addled Wahlberg had dozens of run-ins with the law by the time he was in his teens, but the most serious charge against him came after he attacked two Vietnamese men while shouting racial epithets, leaving one of them permanently blind in one eye. Wahlberg served 45 days behind bars for assault.

A lot of great films fly under the radar, and as I'm moving a few of them around on my shelves, I thought I ought to share them with you.

In alphabetical order, here are ten of my favorite flicks that you probably didn't know existed, and links so you can pick them up for yourselves (which you should).

Even worse, rumors circulated that Pattinson had been planning to propose before he found out his girlfriend cheated. Now the couple, which has notoriously been private about their relationship, appears to have broken up after dating for three years and starring in five films together.

'Alcatraz' Kaput!

May 10th, 2012 8:36am EDT
J.J. Abrams' prison drama Alcatraz has been axed after just one season on air.

The show, starring Sam Neill and Lost's Jorge Garcia, was based around San Francisco's legendary Alcatraz prison and focused on the mysterious reappearance of prisoners and guards who vanished from the island jail in the 1960s.

Nevertheless, fans won't get to see a second season after bosses at the Fox network pulled the plug on the show this week.

Fox chiefs have also axed Bones spin-off The Finder, but they renewed Kiefer Sutherland's TV drama Touch for a second series, according to

'Touch' Recap: 'Safety In Numbers' Saves A Few Lives

March 30th, 2012 1:14am EDT
So far, Touch is coming together pretty nicely, with its intriguing pilot and solid second episode. This third one begins with Martin getting a call from the board and care facility, and he shows up much to the annoyance of Clea, who warns him to be careful. Both of them are surprised to find that Jake has escaped from his room again, and he's writing a new number: 3287.

As Clea's leading him back to his room, Jake slips a clipping of a dragon with the number on it into his father's jacket. Martin takes the number to our wise old guy, Teller (Danny Glover), who warns him to keep h...

'Touch' Recap: '1+1=3' Is Wrong Math, But Great TV

March 23rd, 2012 1:04am EDT
It's been awhile since we saw the Touch pilot, but the show is finally here to stay and for my money, it's the best new show of this TV season.

"I'm not taking him back there," Martin tells Clea when she shows up at his apartment, wanting to take Jake back to the boarding facility. It's the very next day after the events of the pilot, and Martin is insistent that his son is trying to communicate with him. Yet when Clea threatens to call the police, Martin reconsiders. Before he leaves, Jake writes the phone number to Arnie's Pawn Shop on his father's hand, the last four digits of ...
