Buffy
She slices, she dices and throws in the occasional cheer to boot – welcome to...Forgotten Friday Flick!  Today’s selection is for some a mere shadow in the face of a more involved and evolved series, but for yours truly it was a film experience like no other.  Taking multiple genres, lovingly blending them with a witty sensibility and topping it off with some of the best actors of the time (Ben Affleck cameo alert!), this 1992 film was a pleasure for all who experienced its bloodthirsty wares.  Love, death and a few fangs – we’re taking "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

Donald Sutherland may be 78, but he still gets "awkward" around his Hunger Games: Catching Fire co-star Jennifer Lawrence.

Sutherland, who plays Coriolanus Snow in the series, told E!, "She's a delivery system for the truth. She channels epiphanies. She's brilliant, she's brilliant. She's unlike other performers.

"I'm awkward in her presence. When I see her, I babble. When I meet her coming out of an elevator, I'm 'blub, blub, blub.'"

Sutherland continued later, "When I work with her, between Katniss Everdeen and Coriolanus Snow, it's a battle I can taste, eat—I love it!"

Trailer Talk: This Week In Movies - 'The Hunger Games,' 'The Raid: Redemption,' & More

The Hunger Games Poster
Honestly I didn’t have high hopes for the Jonah Hill/Channing Tatum comedy “21 Jump Street,” but I was very pleasantly surprised last week. I laughed my ass off at the antics of the two hapless cops sent back to high school on an undercover mission. Equal parts parody and homage, it simultaneously mocks buddy cop movie clichés and celebrates them. Hill and Tatum are the perfect team, thoroughly convincing you that they’re best buds. My Grade: B+

Things have quieted down a bit at the box office this week in terms of the number of films coming out, but I think a lot of that has to do wit...

Even a sense of hope requires a (corrupt) political system of checks and balances.

President Snow (Donald Sutherland) discusses the darker side of public relations with Head Gamemaker Seneca Crane (Wes Bentley) in this new clip from "The Hunger Games," which premiered as an IGN exclusive.

Snow reveals how he keeps the citizens of Panem in line with his thoughts on the power of hope over fear -- and how each feeling needs to be strictly controlled in order for him to stay on top. Crane, like a good minion, scowls and nods.
