Canadian actor David Sutcliffe was born on June 8, 1969, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, but was raised in Saint Catherines, Ontario. David earned a degree in English literature from the University of Toronto, where he was 'bit by the acting bug,' but it wasn't until he turned 25 that he made his professional debut in a Molsen beer commercial. He later went on to have roles in the movies "Cake," "Jack & Jill" and in the comedy classic "Half Baked." David's television credits include small parts on "Friends," " The Division" and "Will & Grace," but he is most famous for the role of Christopher Hayden, Rory's father, on the cerebral hit show "Gilmore Girls." When not acting David plays hockey, practices Yoga and trains to run in marathons.
