Former 'Downton Abbey' Star Dan Stevens Will Watch Show With American Audience

Former "Downton Abbey" star Dan Stevens has been so busy with his acting career, he hasn't watched any of the season four episodes.

The actor's character Matthew Crawley was shockingly killed off in a car crash during the 2012 Christmas episode.

Stevens plans on watching the period drama when the new season premieres in the United States this weekend. He explained, "I want to watch it with the American audience... It will be fun. After all, I live in Brooklyn now." 

Stevens is currently shooting "Night at the Museum 3" with Ben Stiller.

Michael Douglas was crowned "Legend of the Year" at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London on Tuesday night. He was joined by several other honorees, including Emma Watson, Elton John and Simon Pegg.

Douglas, who annouced last week that he and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones were separated, appeared solo at the event at the Royal Opera House.

Samuel L. Jackson presented Douglas with the award after flying in from the Venice Film Festival in Italy.

Stephen Fry returned to the red carpet on Monday night (10Jun13) just days after revealing he attempted suicide while filming abroad last year (12).

The British actor and comedian confessed he tried to take his life by downing pills and alcohol in Richard Herring's Leicester Square Podcast last week (beg03Jun13), but has since assured fans he feels "fine" now.

Announcing on Twitter.com that he's now "on good meds (medication)," the Gosford Park star proved he was back at his best by attending the London premiere of new period romance Summer in February.

British actor Matthew Rhys has seen off competition from stars including Dan Stevens, Eddie Redmayne and Hugh Dancy to win the coveted role of Mr. Darcy in a Pride And Prejudice spin-off.

The Americans star has been given a lead role in an upcoming BBC period drama called Death Comes to Pemberley, which is adapted from the Pride and Prejudice sequel written by P.D. James.

Downton Abbey star Stevens was said to be in competition for the part, along with Redmayne, Dancy and Thor's Tom Hiddleston.
