What We Learned From 'Blindspot'

What We Learned From 'Blindspot': Get To Know Your Coworkers
What did we learn from this week's Blindspot? That you should take the time to get to know your co-workers, before you learn things that you don't want to know about them and get blindsided like Kurt Weller.

In "Persecute Envoys," Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) finally got the honest truth about the secret Operation Daylight out of his boss Mayfair (Marianne Jean-Baptiste), whose part in the spying gig was told to the audience mostly through flashbacks.

Under a direct order from the White House, Mayfair was one-third of the Daylight team along with Tom Carter (Michael Gaston) and White House...

What We Learned From 'Blindspot': Always Have A Plan B
Even the FBI's best can get thrown for a loop. Such was the case in this week's episode of Blindspot, which saw Weller (Sullivan Stapleton), Reade (Rob Brown) and company fighting to stay alive and get the FBI's number-two most wanted criminal, Saul Guerrero, out of his hiding place in Michigan.

The problem for the team was that Guerrero (Lou Diamond Phillips, so not anywhere near his character on Netflix's Longmire) had chosen to hole up in a city where the locals hate law enforcement (of course) and were heavily armed, the sheriff was on his payroll, and there was little to no cell phone...

What We Learned From 'Blindspot': Family Business Is Always Mess
This week on NBC's Blindspot, we learned that it's not family without a little bit of drama. Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and his sister Sarah (returning guest star Jordana Spiro) had good intentions when they invited Jane (Jaimie Alexander) over to dinner, with everyone but Weller not knowing that there was a possibility she might not be their childhood friend Taylor Shaw.

Things got awkward in a hurry. First, Sarah insisted on telling an embarrassing story about her big brother. But then Jane unknowingly asked the Wellers where their father was, not knowing that he had been the prime susp...

Is There A 'Strike Back' Movie In The Works?

Could A 'Strike Back' Movie Happen?
Strike Back is barely off our small screens and the movie talk has already begun. Prior to the Oct. 9 series finale, Entertainment Weekly reported that production company Left Bank Pictures is trying to develop a feature film continuation of our favorite action series.

According to EW, Left Bank has a deal with Sky - Strike Back's British broadcaster - for a potential movie. Cinemax, which co-produced the show for the US, is not yet involved and nothing has been confirmed.

But the expectation is that stars Sullivan Stapleton and Philip Winchester, currently starring on NBC's Blindspot and...

'Strike Back' Series Finale Recap And Review: Disgruntled Establ
Friday's Strike Back series finale marked the end of the greatest action series of all time, and one of TV's greatest dramatic series of all time. After four seasons of more trauma and more action than should be humanly possible, Damien Scott and Michael Stonebridge finally hung it up. But what did they have to do to get there? And was it as satisfying for the fans as it was for them? Well, it's been one heck of a journey.

The action resumes in the immediate aftermath of last week's helicopter crash, with Stonebridge sporting yet another head wound and Scott wondering how every time he dri...

Sullivan Stapleton: From 'Strike Back' To 'Blindspot' And Still
Today is a difficult day as we brace ourselves for the series finale of Strike Back, which comes to an end after a tremendous run on Cinemax. TV is about to lose a show the likes of which it may not see again.

But making things easier for us is Sullivan Stapleton, who shined as Damien Scott on Strike Back and is now tearing it up as Kurt Weller on NBC's Blindspot, and who joined Starpulse earlier this season to talk about what it was like for him to say goodbye to our favorite former Delta Force operative and move on to the FBI.

"It was sad," he said of finishing Strike Back, which wrappe...

The Legacy Of 'Strike Back': Will We Ever See Another Show Like
Cinemax's Strike Back is ending in just two days, and that's big news not just for fans of the show, but for anyone who enjoys television and wants it to be better. Shows this good only come around once in a while, and it may be a long time before we ever see a series like this again. In honor of its conclusion, we look back at what made Strike Back better than all the rest, and why it will be such a hard act to follow.

The action genre in both television and film has acquired, not entirely without merit, a certain prejudice. Many audiences believe that an action project can't have the sam...

With Li-Na and Kwon one step ahead of them following the bank heist in Vienna, Michael Stonebridge and Damien Scott need to get back in the game. This week's episode of Strike Back sees our Section 20 heroes picking up exactly where the last left off, but the results aren't grand. Then again, that just gives us more to look forward to as the end closes in.

Not the type of men to just stand there while the bad guys get away, Stonebridge and Scott use some hardware of their own to crack the bank's sealed doors. This gets them underground and soon chasing down their adversaries via motorcycle...

5 Things You Should Watch If You're Excited For 'Blindspot'
The premiere of NBC's Blindspot is just days away, and you're about to get hooked. But before Jane Doe emerges in Times Square, here are five other projects that we think ought to be on your viewing list if you're already counting down the hours until she climbs out of that body bag.

1. Strike Back: It goes without saying that the Cinemax action thriller should be required viewing for all Blindspot fans. Sullivan Stapleton gives an A-plus performance as top-notch soldier Damien Scott, and Strike Back is able to blend action and character development in much the same way that Blindspot is a...

Just four episodes of Strike Back remain, so it's time to get down to it. With everyone having fled North Korea at the end of last week, "Episode 37" takes the fight between Section 20 and Li-Na back to European soil, specifically Vienna. It also proves that banks are the least safe places to be on this show, and gives us one more reason to hate clowns. Don't worry, this will all make sense.

After Nina's (Tereza Srbova) asset clones the phone of Russian mob leader Myshkin (Alex Humes), who's working with the Koreans, the team is forced to get formal for a trip to the opera. But they're not...
