There no longer seems to be much originality in Hollywood. When did the ability to sit down and write a captivating screenplay from scratch go out of style? It seems that Hollywood is stuck on turning cartoons and video games into movies. And there's the predatory sequel often lurking and waiting to be as bad as the original movie or better, if we're lucky.

Private investigator to the stars Anthony Pellicano has pleaded not guilty to new wire tapping charges. Pellicano is already charged with breaching the privacy of a string of stars including Sylvester Stallone. The latest version of the indictment against him relates to claims he spied on the ex-wife of billionaire Kirk Kerkorian, Lisa Bonder Kerkorian, during a child custody case.

Pellicano, who is currently on remand, plans to defend himself against all the charges against him when the case goes to trial in August.
