Actor Kerr Smith To Divorce

Dawson's Creek star Kerr Smith is divorcing his wife of five years.

The actor filed for official separation from actress Harmoni Everett on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences, according to celebrity website TMZ.com. The pair married in 2003.

Fox Removes 'Justice' From Schedule

Fox has dropped lawyer drama "Justice" from its schedule, according to Variety. The series failed to find an audience in two different timeslots. Earlier this season it aired on Wednesdays at 9 p.m, and later it replaced "Vanished" on Monday nights at 9 p.m.

The show centers on criminal defense attorneys who tackle high-profile cases. A dream team of four lawyers (played by Victor Garber, Kerr Smith, Eamonn Walker and Rebecca Mader) join forces to work on controversial and newsworthy cases.

House repeats will fill the Monday 9 p.m. timeslot.

Fox Releases 2006-07 Primetime Lineup

FOX today unveiled its primetime schedule for the 2006-07 season. Three new dramas and two new comedies will complement returning favorites on every night of the week this fall. The new dramas premiering this fall are Vanished, Standoff and Justice. The new comedies scheduled for fall debuts are the Brad Garrett comedy 'Til Death and Happy Hour.

Kerr Smith Gets a Permanent TV Gig

Kerr Smith (Dawson's Creek) has joined the regular cast of NBC's freshman drama "E-Ring," reprising the role of Bobby Wilkerson, a gung-ho member of the Pentagon's Special Ops team whom Smith has played in three earlier episodes this fall.

Smith, a native of Pennsylvania, first gained attention for his performance as Jack McPhee in "Dawson's Creek" from 1998 to 2003. His feature-film credits include the upcoming "Accidental Murder," as well as The Forsaken, Hit and Runaway, "Lucid Days in Hell" and The Broken Hearts Club: A Romantic Comedy.
