Actor Stellan Skarsgard is a Father again - at 61!

The Swedish star's wife Megan Everett gave birth to the couple's second child in Stockholm on Friday.

The Avengers star has six other kids - including True Blood and Straw Dogs star Alexander - from his 30-year marriage to doctor My Skarsgard.

The actor wed Everett in 2009 and their first child, Ossian, was born in April, 2009.

'The Avengers' written and directed by Joss Whedon (Cabin In The Woods) has not one, not two, but six super heroes, who, under the leadership of Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), director of the international peacekeeping agency, S.H.I.E.L.D. come together to save the planet of course.

And thanks to the spot on direction of Mr. Whedon and his production team, they do it brilliantly. The film, shot in 3D, works on every level.

"The Avengers" Los Angeles premiere was a star-studded event yesterday. Scarlett Johansson, who plays Black Widow, opted for a simple strapless black dress, while Robert Downey Jr. popped in a purple suit.

In the film, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and the international agency S.H.I.E.L.D. bring together a team of super humans to form The Avengers. Their mission? To help save the Earth from Loki (Tom Hiddleston) & his army. "The Avengers" will be closing the Tribeca Film Festival with a special screening April 28, and then will hit theaters May 4.

The Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by American Express, announced today that Marvel's The Avengers, presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures, will close its 11th edition on Saturday, April 28.

I’m warning from the start, even though this review doesn’t have any spoilers, there is a large segment dedicated to the origins of the character and/or film! It was so nicely pieced, I felt reviewing it in the same detail as the film’s presentation would have been the best approach when writing this up. Mamma Mia! star Stellan Skarsgard has reportedly tied the knot with his girlfriend in his native Sweden.

The actor married Megan Everett on January 12th at the city hall in Nacka, a suburb of Stockholm, according to Swedish publication Aftonbladet.

Skarsgard is said to have flown to Los Angeles shortly after the nuptials to complete filming on The Da Vinci Code sequel Angels & Demons with co-stars Tom Hanks and Ewan McGregor.

The star has six children from a previous marriage that ended in 2007.

Julie Walters and Christine Baranski have been added to the cast of ABBA-themed movie musical Mamma Mia! The respected actresses will join Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan in the film adaptation of the hit stage musical.
