'Ray Donovan' Season 2 Premiere Recap: Like Season One, But With More Talking Dolphins

'Ray Donovan' Season 2 Premiere Recap: Like Season One, But With
Hey, did you know you can show gratuitous sex and naked people on Showtime? Showtime does. And that's why last night's season premiere of "Ray Donovan," entitled "Yo Soy Capitan," opened with the series' two leads (that would be Ray Donovan and his dad, Mickey), in various stages of doin' it.

Also, both Ray, played by Liev Schrieber, and Mickey, played by Jon Voight, start off the premiere with their own individual dream sequences. And as is completely typical of "Ray Donovan," Ray gets the less interesting, slightly generic one, while Mickey gets the one that is completely nutso and thus ...

Diana star Naomi Watts has shared the story about when she and now husband Liev Schreiber first met, revealing that he almost got away -- and she wasn't about to let that happen.

"It was a lot more ballsy than I would ever normally be," she says in the November issue of Allure magazine.

"Normally I want a guy to make the first move, and he wasn't. Then he got up to say he was leaving and I was like, 'Oh, s***. Probably another couple years are going to pass by. I was wildly attracted to him and his work, so I said something cheeky as he was about to walk out. I said, 'Don't you want my di...

'Ray Donovan' 1.7 and Whitey Bulger

August 13th, 2013 8:52pm EDT
Ray Donovan
Just as Showtime's Ray Donovan is really picking up steam, the Whitey Bulger trial in Boston comes to a head with a verdict.   Showtime must be delighted with the coincidence - it almost makes up for the Showtime (Viacom-CBS) dispute with Time Warner which has deprived New York City viewers of Ray Donovan, Dexter, and much more.  On that issue, I say a pox on both your houses - Viacom and Time Warner, you both are worth billions, give the viewers a break, one or both of you accept a little less, and get on with it.  (See my comments on this in The Christian Science Monitor.)  But I digress-...

Movie 43
If you ask us, if Movie 43 is just half as funny as the trailer, it's destined to be a classic. 'Taking Woodstock' Review: Where Did The Music Go?

Taking Woodstock
What would the Woodstock Music & Art Fair have been like without the music? Most likely: Three days of 500 thousand wet, drug induced concert goers rolling around in the mud. Well, at least the final act of Ang Lee's "Taking Woodstock" gets that part right. The festival is very much in full force but, strangely, the actual music is no where to be found. Really, were the music rights really that expensive? What "Taking Woodstock" does do is show a microcosm of the entire late 1960's counter-culture movement through the eyes of sleepy upstate New York town of Bethel over a month long period, ...
