Steve Schirripa Biography
Italian-American actor Steve Schirripa was born on September 3, 1953, in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Steve is a graduate of Brooklyn College and moved to Las Vegas, where he worked as the entertainment director for the Riviera Hotel. He soon began auditioning for film and television roles, and landed the less-than memorable roles of 'man in bar' in the mafia film "Casino," 'Goon' in the Las Vegas-based film "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" and as 'Beefy Jerk # 2' in the movie "Detroit Rock City." Then in 2000, he landed the role he was made for as Bobby Baccalieri on the popular HBO series "The Sopranos." Steve has written 3 books, one of which is named "Goomba's Guide To Life," a manuscript about growing up in Brooklyn. He is also a correspondent for "The Tonight Show" and is a frequent guest on the Don Imus radio Program.
