'Justified' Recap: Bad Things Happen When 'Guy Walks Into A Bar'
Justified keeps going strong this week, as Raylan and Quarles have another confrontation that makes up one of the best scenes in the show's history. If Timothy Olyphant or Neal McDonough don't win an Emmy, I will be shocked.
Nothing good ever happens past nightfall in Kentucky, at least on this show. There are two sheriff's deputies planting drugs in Shelby's truck, for one. He stops them with his shotgun, but it's clear they're playing dirty in Harlan County. Shelby then talks to Boyd, who decides he doesn't want his friend going anywhere alone from that point on. He goes to vis...

Acclaimed actor Leonardo DiCaprio stars in "J. Edgar," director Clint Eastwood's richly detailed biopic exploring the life and career of controversial FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover.
For nearly 50 years, Hoover (DiCaprio) fought crime as one of the most powerful law enforcers in America. During Hoover's extended stint as Director of the FBI, however, his penchant for bending the law in the name of seeking justice and using the secrets of high-profile leaders to gain personal leverage won him just as many supporters as detractors.

Will Ferrell: 'Everything Must Go' Was A New Challenge That I Really Wanted To Try'
Will Ferrell’s new movie is a bit more dramatic than his usual comedies. In Everything Must Go, he plays a man who comes home to find all his belongings on the front lawn after his wife leaves him. He is also an alcoholic so has a few binges in the movie, and Ferrell plays it straight.
“I’m getting the question, were there moments you were tempted to make them funny,” Ferrell said. “I don’t think you can sit down to read a piece of material like this and start earmarking it with ‘Ah, this would be funny. I should barf on myself here. I know how to spice that up.’”

Tribeca Review: Will Ferrell Shows Us He Can Do More Than Comedy In 'Everything Must Go'
A few years ago, funnyman extraordinaire Will Ferrell gave us Stranger Than Fiction, a serious movie that just happened to be funny. This time he teams up with writer/director Dan Rush for Everything Must Go, a funny movie that just happens to be serious. Ferrell plays Nick Porter, an excellent salesman who gets fired from his cushy job because of a little drinking problem. Well, a big drinking problem. He arrives home to find that his luck hasn’t changed—his wife has changed the locks on the doors to the house, and to boot she puts all of his stuff out on the front lawn. (We’re talking all...

'Cedar Rapids' directed by Miguel Arteta (The Good Girl) is the story of an incredibly naive insurance agent Tim Lippe (Ed Helms) who's spent his entire life in the little town of Brown Valley Wisconsin. He's 34 years old, has never been on an airplane or stayed in a hotel. He's the guy that people always thought would go places, but then, he just...didn't.
That soon changes when his boss at Brown Star Insurance, Bill Krogstad (Stephen Root) dispatches him to the annual ASMI insurance convention in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Tim's mission...to bring back the coveted Two Diamond Award that the...

"The Men Who Stare At Goats" has roots in the Cold War; where the United States military tried using psychic abilities to destroy other people. Yes, attempts at learning how to stare people to death actually happened in the most serious of matters. Needless to say, it's funny through and through.

Space is the place as Anchor Bay Entertainment releases the never before seen movie version of the TV show, Tripping the Rift. The irreverent Sci-Fi Channel series known for wild cutting-edge CGI animation and a lusty sense of humor becomes even bawdier with an unrated full-length feature (including a special "making of" featurette) that will delight fans of this crude cult hit. With the sexy voice of Jenny McCarthy (Dirty Love) along for the latest misguided mission, the DVD lands in one hip package on March 25.

TV On DVD Recommendation: 'Newsradio'
The third-best comedy of the 1990s (behind "The Simpsons" and "Seinfeld"), "Newsradio" is also one of its least-remembered and lowest-rated despite being granted a lengthy five-season run. This is mostly due to the fact that the show had its airtime or airdate changed a staggering 11 times during its run. But now that all the episodes are available on DVD, you won't have to worry about not knowing when it's on.
