Singer Jordin Sparks made a drastic lifestyle change to drop more than 50 pounds over two and a half years. Anybody can do it."

The former "American Idol" star told Life & Style magazine that the extra weight was like carrying a 5-year-old child.

"By March of last year [2012], I lost 50. And then I maintained it for the rest of the year. I was in the gym all day long. When I got up I would hike, then I would g...

'The Celebrity Apprentice' Recap: Money Changes Everything

March 15th, 2010 9:45pm EDT
Celebrity Apprentice
Donald Trump is back with celebrities, “celebrities," and a disgraced politician for the third installment of "The Celebrity Apprentice." He reminds us that the show is not just about giving has-beens a chance to be on TV; it’s also about raising money for their favorite charities. Of course, philanthropy is best served as a side dish to the drama of reality TV, so Trump will "fire" someone each week.

This year's cast of characters boasts Reality TV man-whore Bret Michaels, Olympian Michael Johnson, Sinbad, someone named Goldberg, Baseball Star Darryl Strawberry, Celeb Chef Curtis Stone, a...

Macy's 2009 Thanksgiving Day Parade: Meh

November 28th, 2009 8:51am EST
Macy
So, in the spirit of Turkey Day and all that is holy in the holiday season traditions, I got up too early to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade along with an equally weary Liz Lewis. This year was pretty run of the mill.

Like all years past, NBC rolled in with semi truck filled with shameless plugs, an overload of NBC promotions, and puns corny enough to even make younger kids grimace. The route changed, to the chagrin of all those with pricey Broadway real estate who look forward to this fall classic, and the cast of Glee was glaringly absent. With NBC bringing out some real...

Celebrity Fashion Review: Red Carpet Stunners to Red Carpet Bummers

December 10th, 2008 10:42am EST
Nicole Kidman
It never fails, where the red carpet is concerned, that some celebrities will shine as bright as stars (because they are) and stun us with their inner fashionista. While others, will fail miserably and fall into the realm of the red carpet bummer.

Stunners

A definite stunner was Scarlett Johansson at the London premiere of the movie 'The Spirit,' held on December 4th. The young starlet opted for a vintage inspired dress with beautiful pink florals. Her satin pink shoes, with orange rosettes, add an extra touch of girlyness, which she pulls off so well.

Celebrity Offspring: Five Worth Watching

Will & Jaden Smith
Not all relatives should show up at the same office everyday, and not everyone wants to get into the family business. Yet when the perks include fame, big paychecks, and glamorous premieres, the choice seems a little easier to make.

And since nepotism in Hollywood is as classic a tale as Citizen Kane, it’s no surprise that lots of Tinseltown legacies are following in the footsteps of such other celebrity offspring as Michael Douglas, Jane Fonda, and Liza Minnelli.

Here are five we think are worth watching...

Summer TV Preview: ABC, CBS, NBC & Fox

May 28th, 2008 9:43am EDT
Hell
Memorial Day has come and gone, and with its passing the summer of 2008 has (unofficially) begun. It wasn't so many years ago that the summer quarter was little more than an exercise in futility for the networks. They figured that no one would want to stay indoors on beautiful summer evenings to watch original programming, so they instead filled the schedule with repeats of shows that weren't interesting the first time around. Occasionally, viewers were treated to the burn-off episodes of a failed (and swiftly canceled) offering from the prior season. Yippee.

That all changed a few...
