Celebrities That Turn 40 In 2015
Welcome to 2015 – Big milestones start at around forty so we thought we'd take a look back to the year of 1975 to see who was born that year and what major events transpired.

In 1975 the Vietnam War officially ended as communist forces took Saigon. The average price of gasoline that year was .72 cents while work on the Alaska Pipe Line began. Other historic notes included BIC's launch of the first disposable razor; Microsoft became a registered trademark; Motorola obtained the first portable mobile phone patent; the Altair 8800 microcomputer was released and Ex-teamster boss Jimmy Hoffa va...

Former CSI: Miami star Adam Rodriguez and Grammy-winning singer Melanie Fiona have split after three years together.

The couple had been living together in Los Angeles until their split last month, and the Canadian R&B star reportedly moved to New York following the break-up.

Rodriguez's representative confirmed the news to the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, but insisted the split was "very nice" and the former couple is still friends, telling the publication, "Adam still cares about her."

Emily Procter
CSI: Miami star Emily Procter is a first-time-mom after giving birth to a baby girl.

The actress and her musician boyfriend, Paul Bryan, welcomed daughter Pippa last month.

Procter announced the happy news this week as she made her return to work on the hit TV show - on the same day her co-star Adam Rodriguez took up directing duties for the first time.

She tells, "In a way, it fits that my first day back is (Rodriguez's) first time directing. Because I felt like he genuinely wanted me to have a healthy baby. He wanted me to be happy, and I wish the same for him. I think that...

Review: 'Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself'

September 11th, 2009 9:46am EDT
Tyler Perry
The seventh film out of the Tyler Perry machine is actually a cherry-picked version of Perry's second play by the same name, which coincidentally was the first to debut his signature Madea role. Though you would never know this from watching the film, it is no matter, and no wonder that the Madea franchise has been one of the most profitable in recent Hollywood history.

Like all of the films in Perry's cannon, "I Can Do Bad All By Myself" does good to depict various lines in African-American life, and he definitely goes for it regardless of how the end result may materialize. The first ...

Trailer Talk - This Week In Movies: '9,' 'Whiteout' & More

September 8th, 2009 9:03am EDT
I've heard good reviews of the Mike Judge comedy "Extract" that came out last week, and I might add it to my list of movies to see, which still includes "District 9" and "Cold Souls." I haven't had as much time to make it to the movie theater lately as I've wanted to.

An unusual combination of movies hits theaters this week: two documentaries, one animated film, two thrillers, and a comedy. Premiering at the box office this week are "9," "I Can Do Bad All By Myself," "Whiteout," "Sorority Row," "The September Issue," and "Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour." ...

In Tyler Perry's latest film, I Can Do Bad All By Myself, Madea, America's favorite pistol-packing grandma, catches sixteen-year-old Jennifer and her two younger brothers looting her home, she decides to take matters into her own hands and delivers the young delinquents to the only relative they have: their aunt April.

A heavy-drinking nightclub singer who lives off of Raymond, her married boyfriend, April wants nothing to do with the kids. But her attitude begins to change when Sandino, a handsome Mexican immigrant looking for work, moves into April's basement room.
