| I stoped watching Bonanza when Pernell Roberts left in the 1960's. I only watch the reruns Pernell stars in now, He was my first TV idol. And before the Beatles. | ||

| He was ahead of his time! Nowadays actors have more power.If they have ideas they can direct,produce,basically do whatever they want within a show. He could ride a horse as good as any cowboy! He was a hero on bonanza! | ||

I wish the Bonanza writers had followed at least some of Pernell's ideas, and maybe he wouldn't have quit the show when he did. I had to laugh, though, when I read somewhere that he eventually hated the show so much that he wouldn't even read the scripts, just would ask what his next line was! You gotta love him! I just hope he's in good health and sticks around a long time. It'll be a very sad day when he passes on. He's such an interesting and bright person in his own right, but it's still "Adam" that has captured my heart! | ||

| I admire and respect Pernell, and I love and adore the Adam Cartwright that he portrayed. I've "rediscovered" him after 40+ years, having favored "Little Joe" when I was a teenager. Now Adam is "the man!" I'm so sorry that Pernell is only in 6 short years' worth of Bonanza episodes. When the opening credits show only Ben, Joe and Hoss riding up, it's as if there's been a death! It's so depressing! | ||

I always watch the glory years of Bonanza when Pernell was on the show. I was wondering why you cannot buy the complete set of DVDs of the show like you can with other shows. All the old westerns are now on DVD except for Bonanza. Do you know why and if we can ever expect the DVDs to come available. I would love to have the first 6 seasons when Pernell Roberts was playing Adam Cartwright. RosaKee | ||

| I have followed Pernell Roberts all through his exciting career, very familar with his hometown of Waycross, GA my mother;s family lives there and remembers when he attended Ware County High School and played on the football team, he never forget his roots, a true country boy turned citfied. | ||

| I love Pernell Roberts amd was upset when he left Bonanza. I still watch that program on TVLAND and even saw Pernell on Gunsmoke. I am interested in what he is currently doing. He is a very talented individual. | ||
