Celebrities That Turn 30 In 2014

1/3/2014 1:00pm EST
Scarlett Johansson
The last two days we've posted a list of celebrities that turn 40 and 50 in 2014. Today, we are giving you the list of celebrities that turn 30, even though 30 isn't that big a milestone - but we'll include the kiddies anyhow.

Lets turn the clock back 30 years ago to 1984 - Here are a few highlights form that year: Ronald Reagan was elected to his second term as President of the United States, the Space Shuttle Discovery had its first maiden voyage, the Aids Virus was identified, the first Apple Macintosh went on sale, CD players (now pretty much defunct) were introduced commercially, and ...

Sam Claflin Broke His Hand On The Set Of 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire'

4/17/2013 6:47pm EDT
Catching Fire

Actor Sam Claflin broke his hand on the set of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" during a rehearsal session, according to co-star Alan Ritchson. The break happened during the run through of a stunt scene while grappling with another performer.

"Sam got hurt the worst. He broke his hand doing a stunt... He broke it on the stunt guy, warming up. I was standing right next to him," Ritchson tells E! Online. "It was tough to watch... (He) took it like a champ - he took it and kept moving."

No news about the actual stunt being performed, but Richson did say that Claflin broke his hand ON...

'Blue Mountain State' Recap: 'One Week' (3.10)

11/10/2011 2:33am EST
Blue Mountain State
Art imitates life in this week's Blue Mountain State: the program gets a TV show made about it - and Coach Daniels puts a golf club through his TV upon seeing the end product. Ouch.

One can't really blame him, though. "One Week" is no "Hard Knocks" and this is no ESPN or NFL Network. It's full of bombastic narration and whoever wrote said narration is clearly interested in sucking up to offensive coordinator/coach in waiting Gilday (Anthony Lemke). But the device of sticking a camera in everyone's faces gives us the hilarity of them trying to come off much better than they all ar...

'Blue Mountain State' Recap: 'Blackout' (3.05)

10/20/2011 2:40am EDT
Blue Mountain State
It's time for a big rivalry game on Blue Mountain State - at least until a blackout forces a postponement and some ill-advised off-the-field competition.

This allows Alex to confront the girl he lost his virginity to, who's now a cheerleader for the rival school, dating the captain of their football team. Thad, of course, vehemently dislikes his opposite number, and so it comes to pass that there's a beer pong challenge thrown down between the four of them. Unsurprisingly, the rules of the game change about every two minutes, depending on what seems like a good idea at the time. Ev...

'Blue Mountain State' Review: 'The Peak' (3.03)

10/6/2011 2:37am EDT
Blue Mountain State
This week's Blue Mountain State teaches us a proper lesson in a tasteless way: popularity is fleeting.

For a guy who was in his own version of hell at the beginning of this season, Alex Moran has come a long way in a short time -- he's riding high this week, having thrown seven touchdowns in an upset of the top-ranked team in the country. And with victory, everyone suddenly wants to be your best friend. "Alex played awesome today, which means I care about him now," Thad tells his teammates, perfectly summing up college popularity in a nutshell.

Reveling in the attention, Alex be...

'Blue Mountain State' 3.01 'The Captain' Review

9/22/2011 2:39am EDT
Blue Mountain State
Mayhem is back in session at Blue Mountain State. It takes about thirty seconds for the show to resume complete insanity on all fronts, which is what we watch it for, isn't it? I mean, this show is about football as much as Celebrity Deathmatch was about boxing.

How did Thad Castle become ineligible for the BMS football team? Well, it involves blabbing to reporters, a ton of cocaine, and something about possibly declaring himself for the NFL Draft. Thankfully, we only have to see him cry for a couple of minutes, because that's really uncomfortable.

Coach Daniels is back on decent t...

'Blue Mountain State' 2.08 'Vision Quest' Review

12/9/2010 2:30am EST
Episodes about vision quests are usually pretty hilarious; Peter Griffin and Homer Simpson have both attempted them with interesting results. Putting the phrases "Thad Castle" and "vision quest" in the same sentence, naturally, made me expect hilarity.

Thad has a big decision in front of him: graduate or declare for the NFL Draft. One of his genius teammates suggests that he get high on drugs and attempt a vision quest for spiritual guidance, and because he's not very bright (not that anyone on this show is particularly smart), he thinks this is a perfect idea - after ingesting enou...
