Eli Roth Brings Splatter To Las Vegas With His 'Goretorium'

May 1st, 2012 1:10pm EDT
Eli Roth
When you envision Las Vegas, you think of Cirque du Soleil, Penn & Teller, erotic showgirls, Don Rickles and some kind of vague recollection of Rat Pack-era drunken romanticism.

Now you can add Eli Roth to that list of vaunted Vegas staples as The Guardian reports the horrormeister plans to gouge tourists of their cash and possibly more with an attraction called "Goretorium."

Having already adapted his popular "Hostel" torture porn series into a serious meatgrinder of a horror maze on the Universal Studios lot called "Hostel: Hunting Season," writer/director/occasional "Inglourious Baster...

Toy Story Combo Blu-ray
The kid has spoken. I put up my Top Ten Blu-ray list already, but with no kid flick included, I felt it important to have the tots represented. So I went right to the source (my 10-year-old son Will Graham - named after a movie character of course!) and he gave up his pick for this year’s kid flick...

Funny thing is it’s actually one of my favorites too! So check out the highlights, the beauty of Buzz, and wonderment of Woody below!

Lisa Lampanelli
Lisa Lampanelli is one of the funniest people in the world and you probably already knew that from watching her on many a televised Roast. She goes after every type of person in the world with jokes that are downright gut splittingly funny and has written a hilarious memoir entitled 'Chocolate, Please' that talks about the seemingly endless number of "chocolate daddies" that she's dated, her struggles with compulsive eating and her upbringing in a crazy Itali...

Zach Galifianakis Still Recovering From Tyson Punch

May 21st, 2009 9:23am EDT
Zach Galifianakis
Taking a movie hit from former boxing champ Mike Tyson was like playing Russian roulette for funnyman Zach Galifianakis - because he knew that any stray punch could have killed him.

Tyson knocks out the actor's character Alan Garner in new comedy The Hangover - and the odd couple needed 30 takes to get the scene just right. Galifianakis admits it took all his courage to stand there as Tyson wound up to strike.

He says, "The director (Todd Phillips) is telling Tyson how to fight to camera and then we did about 30 takes for that fight scene and if he connected I would've died."

Neil Patrick Harris Fires Up TV Land Awards

April 21st, 2009 8:19am EDT
Neil Patrick Harris
Actor Neil Patrick Harris scorched up the stage at the TV Land Awards in Los Angeles - when a stunt set his tuxedo on fire.

The star, who was hosting the prize giving, was rehearsing his opening number just before the show started on Sunday when his costume went up in smoke. According to blogger Marc Malkin, the funnyman was left shaken and a little burned when sparks from electronic devices he was wearing for a stunt set his suit on fire.

A source says, "He just had some welts on his back (but) he didn't have to be taken to a hospital or anything like that."

Harris made n...

'30 Rock' Recap: 'Goodbye, My Friend'

March 6th, 2009 8:51am EST
30 Rock
Liz is back to talking about adoption in "Goodbye, My Friend," perhaps an ironic twist considering Jenna is back to fishing for compliments and/or just general attention.

When the "diaper chicken" sketch gets cut, Jenna fakes an injury to get people to fawn all over her, but with her birthday coming up in a few days, she shouldn't go to too bad of extremes, right? Aw, if you're nodding in agreement, then you obviously don't "go to there" often with 30 Rock!

Liz finds Jack skulking around the studio with a beer on a Friday night because although he has "art gallery openings or a g...

Underrated/Overrated 'Saturday Night Live' Weekend Update Anchors

October 20th, 2008 12:48pm EDT
Kevin Nealon
Last week and for the next few, "Saturday Night Live" will move its oldest property, "Weekend Update" to primetime.

It seems we can no longer call the cast the Not-Ready-For-Primetime Players as they bring their cornerstone segment to a timeslot previously occupied by shows like "Frasier" and "Friends". This gives SNL a chance to enter the mainstream in a way it never has before, and with the endless wave of news (both straightforward and comedic) "Weekend Update" is the perfect vehicle to bring late night to primetime.

Unfortunately, those who don't like to stay up late are forc...
