Born on March 6, 1947 in The Bronx, NY, Reiner was the son of famed comedian Carl Reiner, who most notably wrote and performed on television during the small screen's Golden Age, including on "Your Show of Shows" (NBC, 1950-54) and "The Dick Van Dyke Show" (CBS, 1961-66).
