Dennis Quaid has reportedly revived his on/off relationship with his estranged wife, four months after their latest divorce filing.

The actor filed paperwork to end his marriage to his third wife, Kimberly Buffington-Quaid, in November, six months after reconciling in the aftermath of a previous divorce filing in March, 2012.

However, reports now suggest the couple is giving the relationship one more try, even though the divorce appears to be proceeding through the court system.

After eight years of marriage, Dennis Quaid filed for divorce on Friday.

The actor's third wife, Kimberly Buffington-Quaid, initially filed for divorce back in March, but later retracted her petition in May amid rumors the couple had reconciled.

In October Buffington-Quaid went to court to request a legal separation, and now Quaid has filed divorce papers at Los Angeles Superior Court.

Dennis Quaid is facing legal action from a horse rider who claims to have been seriously injured in an accident on the actor's California estate.

Lester Wood, 70, alleges The Day After Tomorrow star gave him permission to ride a trial on the Pacific Palisades property in Los Angeles, but he was thrown from his mount after the animal was spooked by a sprinkler system.

Wood spent nearly two months in the hospital after suffering injuries including concussion, broken ribs, a shattered pelvis and internal bleeding, and racked up nearly $500,000 in medical bills.

Footloose star Dennis Quaid has put the Montana ranch where Robert Redford filmed both A River Runs Through It and The Horse Whisperer up for sale.

The 418-acre property in Emigrant is on the market at $14 million.

The estate features four guest houses and a home for a ranch manager, stables, a private creek and even gold mines, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Country star Blake Shelton has signed on to revamp Kenny Loggins' Footloose anthem for the movie remake of the cult film.

The soundtrack will also feature new renditions of Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out For a Hero," Ann Wilson and Mike Reno's "Almost Paradise" and Deniece Williams' "Let's Hear it For The Boy" by acts like Victoria Justice, Hunter Hayes, Ella Mae Brown and Jana Kramer.
