Created by Kevin Williamson, the brainchild behind the Scream movie franchise as well as The Vampire Diaries, The Following paints a portrait of a serial killer so intelligent and psychopathic that the cat-and-mouse game he initiates in the pilot will be enough to carry an audience through at least the first season.

Our killer is Joe Carroll (James Purefoy), a former English professor who is an expert in Gothic literature, especially the works of Edgar Alla...

The star appears in the Disney sci-fi epic alongside Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, James Purefoy and Taylor Kitsch as the titular character, an American Civil War captain who is transported to Mars.

West admits there was not much to do in between filming in the picturesque state - so the cast made their own fun back at their motel.

January 13th, 2007 7:34pm EST
James Purefoy
British actor James Purefoy has laughed off reports his manhood was digitally enhanced for a full frontal nude scene in gritty TV series Rome. The star, who plays Roman leader Mark Antony in the epic drama, bared all for a bathing scene in the first series - where he was toweled down by a slave.
