Watch Kerry Washington As Anita Hill In 'Confirmation' Trailer
Kerry Washington is tackling politics in a different way for her next project. In HBO's new original film Confirmation, which premieres next Saturday, Washington stars as Anita Hill - the woman who famously accused Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment as he hoped to ascend to the United States Supreme Court.

Fans can get their first look at Washington as Hill in the new trailer for Confirmation, which we've included below. The movie has a first-rate cast, including Wendell Pierce (Robert Zane on USA's Suits) as Thomas, Greg Kinnear as then Senator Joe Biden, and Alison Wright (Martha Hanso...

'Suits': Wendell Pierce Talks The Zane Family's Fractured Dynamic

3/5/2016 12:04pm EST
The recently concluded fifth season of Suits was also a big one for Robert Zane, who went on the warpath both professionally and personally. Robert believed that Mike was ruining his daughter's life and was out to ruin Pearson Specter Litt at the same time. So what's going through his head now that it's all been said and done?

Starpulse connected with Wendell Pierce before the season finale to ask him if there's anything Mike can ever do to make Robert believe he's worthy of Rachel, and how badly standing by her man may have damaged Robert's opinion of his daughter.

Robert made it clear n...

'Suits' Recap: 'No Puedo Hacerlo'

'Suits' Recap And Review: 'No Puedo Hacerlo' - Family Warfare
The fifth season of Suits has so far pulled no punches (just the way we like it), and that's still the case with "No Puedo Hacerlo," which gets to the inevitable battle between Mike and his future father-in-law, as well as giving us plenty of strong female characters to enjoy throughout the episode. No one on this show takes anything easy, and that's what makes everything so entertaining.

Harvey and Mike run into each other in the lobby, with Mike gloating over receiving a settlement offer from the insurance company he and Robert Zane have been chasing. He then crosses paths with Katrina B...

'Suits' Meets This Season’s First Adversary

'Suits' Recap And Review: 'Compensation' - Everybody Wants Their
Last week's season premiere of Suits proved that season five will not be an easy one for Harvey Specter, and in "Compensation" he's taking another blow. But he's not the only one who has a few lumps to swallow as we meet the season's first adversary and realize how dysfunctional this firm can get sometimes.

But first, here's Rachel sharing a meal with her father Robert (a returning Wendell Pierce). He chooses this time to hand her a prenuptial agreement he thinks she might need, because she has "assets to protect." Naturally, she doesn't take this well, but to placate him she agrees to loo...

LA Film Fest 2012 Review: Stagnate 'Four' Runs In Dreary Dramatic Circles

6/24/2012 10:00am EDT
Ever watch a film and can't shake the feeling that it might make a better play? It’s not just clever thinking – if you sense it’s from a play it usually is. Case in point the very heady without much movement dramatic film "Four," a slow story of two separate and unlikely couples that seems to go nowhere. Dim dialogue, terrible staging and pauses galore – not exactly a cinema lover’s dream.

June and Joe. Abigayle and Dexter. Two couples, the first a struggling with his sexuality teenage boy and a middle-aged older man, the second a young African-American girl and a Hispanic boy. All ar...

TV On DVD: 'Treme: The Complete First Season' [Blu-Ray]

3/29/2011 2:31pm EDT
Today, HBO Home Entertainment releases the first season of the critically acclaimed Treme on both DVD and Blu-Ray. Here's a look at what's inside the four-disc Blu-Ray edition.

The Show

I've been a fan of David Simon's work since he was a Baltimore Sun beat writer who penned the book Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets. Everything he's done for TV - Homicide: Life on the Street, The Wire, The Corner - has been fantastic, and Treme is no exception.

This series, set in New Orleans post-Hurricane Katrina, boasts an impressive cast. There's Khandi Alexander (The Corner, CSI: Miami, New...

Actor Dominic West has wed his college sweetheart in a romantic ceremony in Ireland.

The Wire star married Catherine Fitzgerald in front of their loved ones at Glin Castle, the bride's family home in Limerick, Ireland, on Saturday. Prior to the wedding, West said, "I'm so nervous I can barely speak," while Fitzgerald told reporters outside the ceremony: "I feel so excited, really happy, really thrilled. It's a fairytale."

The happy couple was also joined by West's co-stars from the hit cop show, Wendell Pierce, Andre Royo, Sonja Sohn and Doug Olear. Sohn says, "We had to be here for thi...

'The Wire' Demonstrates The Rotating Cycle Of Tragedy

2/12/2008 8:55am EST
The Wire
In the first true blow-away episode of its final season, "The Wire" examined a group ignored heretofore by the show and currently by the media: the government and simple everyday people.

This season has seen McNulty (Dominic West) inventing a serial killer supposedly preying on the homeless, but not until last night did we meet any of these people. "The Dickensian Aspect" brought those supposed victims to the forefront in two separate plot points.

The first found fabricating news reporter Scott Templeton (Thomas McCarthy) wanting to expound upon his coverage of the killings follo...
