I am so going to miss The United States of Tara, and the finale exemplified many of the reasons why this show should have been renewed. Since Bryce has been forcing Tara to throw up the pills she’s swallowed, Tara is now snorting her meds. She claims they’ve talking about his worries, but Hatteras says having sex instead of talking is not dealing with a problem. He’s concerned that she has settled for things being ‘fine.’

The comic, 44, was found unconscious by a friend after mixing up prescription medication, according to reports.

Last week, the long weekend gave me a chance to see "District 9" in the movie theater. The film's science fiction elements took a back seat to its moral objective however, which was roughly to serve as an allegory for the Apartheid in South Africa.

Treatment of the aliens by humans, as a subhuman species really becomes emotionally jarring through the intense blood and gore that comprise the latter half of the movie. Audiences ultimately walk away from "District 9" disgusted by the inhumanity of the human race.
