There's been a murder in 'Terra Nova.'

Ken Foster, one of Terra's soldiers, is killed gruesomely by a vicious Nycoraptor at a Communications Relay Station. However, this is not the usual doings of a dino as when Jim investigates the crime scene he discovers claw marks indented into the door, suggesting the Nycoraptor had been trapped in the station, waiting to pounce his way out. Wanting to uncover more, Jim asks Liz to examine Foster's body and her findings show that strangely t...

Katherine Heigl Returns In 'One For The Money' (Trailer)

November 1st, 2011 11:24am EDT
One for the Money
Katherine Heigl returns to the big screen in a new comedy, “One for the Money.” She plays the part of Stephanie Plum, a sassy and proud Jersey girl. Like the modern woman, she is unemployed and freshly-divorced—a perfect combination that would drive anyone to desperation.

After losing her work in the lingerie department at Macy’s and losing her car, Plum lands herself a job as a “recovery agent” at a bail bonding company, which is basically the nicer-sounding substitution for a bounty hunter. Even though she’s ill-equipped for the position with clearly no previous experience from her last ...

Taylor brings the runaway food and she confesses he is named a “bad man” at the Sixer clan and she left because she wasn’...

'Terra Nova' Recap: Instinct

October 5th, 2011 10:10am EDT
The Shannon family fly into another dino adventure!
After a stunning, jam-packed two episode pilot of ‘Terra Nova’ it seemed impossible for the series to continue drilling out chaotic, intriguing episodes. However, despite being filled with too many cliques to list, Instinct was still extremely enjoyable and it’s clear the Shannon family will be forced into nonstop gruelling adventure every week.

The beginning was very dark with us witnessing three Terra Nova campers in the jungle being murdered by God only knows what: a dinosaur, presumably. Taylor and his security team go out to investigate, believing Sixer’s to be up to mischief, and Jim...

'Terra Nova' Recap: Genesis

Terra Nova
It came to no surpirse that Steven Spielberg's latest venture would be under huge pressure. The premiere of Jurassic Park meets Lost has aired and it's now time to decide: did 'Terra Nova' concour all high expectations?

The two hour debut wasn’t slow in pulling us straight into the action as we flied to the year 2149 where the human race is threatened by extinction. The only way in surviving this horrible fate is to travel to Terra Nova. That seems easy enough, until you throw in the fact that this place is 85 million years behind in prehistoric Earth.

Loving husband, Jim (Jason O’Mara),...

Brittany's TCA 2011 Blog: 'Allen Gregory,' 'I Hate My Teenage Daughter,' 'Terra Nova,' The Emmys

August 8th, 2011 11:20am EDT
Terra Nova
Following our earlier peeks at New Girl and The X Factor, it's time to talk about two new FOX comedies and one show we've been hearing about for what seems like forever. FOX's TCA (Television Critics Association) presentation continued with looks at Allen Gregory, I Hate My Teenage Daughter, Terra Nova, and the network's upcoming presentation of the Primetime Emmy Awards.

Allen Gregory

It was a case of deja vu: once again, FOX used a themed lunch to show us a new Sunday animated comedy. Last year, it was Bob's Burgers. This year, it was Allen Gregory. It's always struck me as a bit stra...

Brittany's TCA 2011 Blog: FOX - 'Chicago Code,' 'American Idol,' 'Terra Nova,' & More

January 12th, 2011 12:00pm EST
Chicago Code
FOX had its Television Critics Association presentation Tuesday, and from my front-row (literally) seat, I confirmed what I felt has been the case for awhile: while the network has consistently strong dramas, it still needs to find some reliable comedies - at least when it comes to ones that aren't animated.

Here's how the day played out:

The Chicago Code

The highlight of my day was easily the presentation for Shawn Ryan's new drama, The Chicago Code (premiering February 7). Given Ryan's pedigree as the creator of The Shield, The Unit and the recently axed Terriers, the buzz - and the ex...
