Tonight FOX says goodbye to its cult hit Fringe, after five seasons of mind-bending, multi-universe sci-fi adventure. Before the end, the incredibly talented Mr. John Noble - who plays Fringe's 'mad scientist' Walter Bishop - recently sat down with BFTV to discuss what he loved most about the show and what it was like for him to leave behind a role he's inhabited for so long.

Production on hit U.S. TV show Fringe has been halted as actor John Noble battles a sleep disorder, according to reports.

Filming on the fifth season on the cult drama ground to a halt earlier this week, prompting speculation about the reasons for the delay.
The Hollywood Reporter suggests TV bosses decided to halt the shoot to allow actor John Noble, 63, time to seek treatment for a sleep disorder.

Filming on the Fox series is expected to resume on August 7.

"Fringe" star John Noble has signed up to play out a number of "outlandish" science experiments on a new TV show.

Noble has teamed up with the Science Channel to host "Dark Matters," a series that will explore some of the most bizarre, real-life research studies ever conducted.

He tells Entertainment Weekly, "The stories we share in Dark Matters are as outlandish as a great sci-fi script or as disturbing as a classic horror tale - the only difference is that they're all true. The series offers a glimpse into the dark side of science, as well as human nature."

'Mad Men' Wins 3 Awards At Critics' Choice Television Awards; See All Winners

Hit TV show "Mad Men" was the toast of the inaugural Critics' Choice Television Awards in California on Monday, scooping three top honors.

The series won the Best Drama prize at the Beverly Hills ceremony, while its star Jon Hamm took home the Best Actor in a Drama award. Christina Hendricks rounded out their trio of honors by winning Best Supporting Actress in a Drama.

Best Actress in a Drama went to Julianna Margulies for "The Good Wife" and John Noble won Best Supporting Actor in a Drama for his turn in "Fringe."

Fox will air encore presentations of Fringe and Glee this week accompanied by messages from cast and producers via twitter, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Viewers will be able to to follow Twitter message online or on-air. The messages will reveal behind-the-scenes details and answer fan questions.

Science fiction icon Leonard Nimoy will be joining the cast of Fox's hit sci-fi drama Fringe, reports Entertainment Weekly (EW.com). The Star Trek star has been tapped by J.J. Abrams to play former lab partner of Walter Bishop (John Noble), William Bell, as in the William Bell who created the show's mysterious corporation Massive Dynamic.
