David Niven made every movie he appeared in better. Simply put Davio Niven had impeccable style. Many times cast as a British Military Officer, David Niven brought great commanding style to his performances. A great Hollywood leading man whose list of Leading Ladies encompasses a list of who's who in Hollywood he was also great in a series of great film comedies such as Blake Edwards' "The Pink Panther" David Niven's great masculine style added greatly to any film he appeared in. David Niven worked with a who's who of Hollywood stars such as Merle Oberon, Laurence Olivier, Deborah Kerr, William Holden, Rita Hayworth, Peter Sellars, Shirley MacLaine, Burt Lancaster, Capucine, et al. David Niven was one of the founders of a great but now defunct TV Production Company named "Four Star" which produced ' The Big Valley' with Barbara Stanwyck, 'The Rogues' starring Charles Boyer and Niven, and 'Wanted Dead or Alive' with Steve McQueen among many other fine shows. David Niven won an Academy Award for his performance in "Separate Tables" and there is a great picture of Niven with that year's Best Actress Susan Hayward. David Niven wrote a great book on his life in Hollywood called "The Moon's A Balloon" | ||
