Parents Hoped Therapy Would Turn 'Glee' Creator Ryan Murphy Straight

When "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy was a teenager his parents sent him to therapy in a bid to make him straight.

When he was 15, his parents discovered Ryan was having "an affair" with a 21-year-old man. As a result, his parents removed him from summer camp, sold his car, and threatened to file statutory rape charges against his boyfriend.

Then they sent him to therapy to help him "overcome" his attraction towards men. However, Ryan's therapist ended up taking the teen's side.

'Glee' Creator Assures Fans Dianna Agron Will Return

Glee boss Ryan Murphy has assured fans of the hit TV show that Dianna Agron will return for the next season after she was left out of promotional pictures for the new series.

The show's co-creator announced earlier this year that the entire leading cast, including Agron, Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith, will stay on the show despite their characters heading to university.

However, fans went into a panic after images to promote the upcoming fourth series were released - and didn't feature Agron, who plays Quinn Fabray.

'Glee' Creator Ryan Murphy's Office Evacuated Over Powder Scare

Glee creator Ryan Murphy's office was reportedly evacuated on Monday after a suspicious powder was discovered in the mail.

Police were called to the production company in Los Angeles after "a little bit of white powder" spilled out of a letter from a fan asking Murphy to read his script, reports Deadline.com.

Staff were ordered to leave the building while a hazardous materials team conducted a brief investigation.

Work resumed after the officers determined the substance was not dangerous, according to a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.

Actress Ashley Fink has been dropped from the cast of Glee.

The plus-size star played Lauren Zizes on the hit TV musical series, but fans were left wondering about her future when her character quit the high school glee club New Directions at the start of the third season last year.

Rocker-turned-TV talent show mentor Adam Levine is in talks to make his acting debut on hit series "American Horror Story."

The Maroon 5 frontman, who also appears on "The Voice," is poised to join the cast of "Glee" producer Ryan Murphy's creepy drama for its upcoming second season.

Sources tell EW.com the singer will play a "contemporary character" as one half of a couple called "The Lovers."

Co-creator Ryan Murphy has received the Jackson family's "enthusiastic support" after convincing them the show would serve as a respectful homage to the late icon.

The special installment, due to air on January 24th, will feature 10 to 12 Jackson songs.
