'Hell On Wheels' Star Anson Mount Talks Season 3 Of The AMC Series

We were fortunate enough to catch up with Anson Mount on the phone to talk about AMC's hit series Hell on Wheels. For the few of you who don't know, Hell on Wheels is a Western television series in its third season. Set in the 1800's, the series centers on the settlement that accompanied the construction of the first transcontinental railroad, referred to as "Hell on Wheels." Anson plays the main character, Cullen Bohannan, a former soldier and extremely determined man on a hunt to avenge his murdered wife and son.

First off, I must say that there are some actors that I just enjoy watching ­- doesn't really matter all that much what they do up on the silver screen, I just like them - and Jason Statham is one of them.

Is he a great actor? That's yet to be determined, but he's definitely an entertaining one.

In his new film 'Safe' written and directed by Boaz Yakin ('Remember the Titans') Statham is at the top of his game.

Britney Spears one-time onscreen boyfriend Anson Mount is set to shock fans as a skinny meth addict in a new movie.

The Crossroads actor lost 20 pounds for the role in Cook County and admits his hunger started to affect his attitude onset.

He tells BlogTalkRadio.com, "The schedule was grueling, shooting six days a week... and it was difficult being around me at times because I was pretty much consistently in ketosis. My temper would get a little short, so there were times I had to step away."

NBC will introduce several new mid-season series and welcome back other hits following the closing day ceremonies of the 2006 Winter Olympics beginning Feb. 27 with the reprise of the smash "Deal or No Deal" followed by the series premieres of "Conviction" (March 3), "Heist" (March 22) and "Teachers" (April 6).
