Evan Rachel Wood Preps For 'Necessary Death'
On again. Off again. Well, now "The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman" is definitively on again.
Since Shia LaBeouf returned to his starring role in the film (after briefly being replaced by Zac Efron), it seems two more leads have been filled. Evan Rachel Wood and Mads Mikkelsen (a Danish star) have signed on for the thriller.
Penned by Matt Drake, the scribe behind the upcoming "Project X," the story follows Charlie, who, after the death of his mother, heads to Europe to find himself. (Sounds reasonable to us.) On the plane, however, he meets Hungarian beauty Gabi Banyai (Wood) — an...

Penguin Books has released the movie tie-in edition of "The Three Musketeers" by Alexandre Dumas. One of the most popular adventure stories ever written, the swashbuckling epic chronicles the adventures of D'Artagnan, a brash young man from the countryside who journeys to Paris in 1625 in hopes of becoming a muskateer and guard to King Louis XIII.
Before long he finds treachery and court intrigue - and also three companions: the daring swordsman Athos, Porthos and Aramis.
The book is translated by Robert Pevear.

Trailer Talk: This Week In Movies - 'Salt,' 'Valhalla Rising,' & More
I saw both the “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” and “Inception,” which premiered last week. Personally I thought “Inception” is the best movie that I have seen all year. “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” was fun, but in no way does it even reside on the same level of filmmaking. If you’re interested in reading my thoughts on each, check out my reviews here.
Angelina Jolie’s action thriller “Salt” arrives in theaters this week, as well as the dark age adventure “Valhalla Rising,” the dramedy “Life During Wartime,” the family film “Ramona and Beezus,” and the documentary “Countdown to Zero.”

Clash Of The Dresses: Alexa Davolos Vs. Gemma Arterton At The UK 'Clash Of The Titans' Premiere
Gemma Arterton (right) and Alexa Davalos looked sultry in black at the premiere of "Clash Of The Titans" in London yesterday. Gemma - who you may remember from the last James Bond film, "Quantum of Solace" - posed in a back-revealing dress, while Alexa ("Chronicles of Riddick," "Feast Of Love") opted for a slenderizing single-shouldered gown.

Liam Neeson And Ralph Fiennes To Clash As 'Titans'
Liam Neeson is set to bounce back after the shock death of his wife Natasha Richardson by starring opposite longtime pal Ralph Fiennes in the Clash Of The Titans remake.
The two stars are set to play warring gods in the update of the cult 1981 film. Neeson will play Zeus, according to The Hollywood Reporter, while Fiennes is in negotiations to take on the role of Hades, ruler of the underworld. The film set will be a more cheerful get-together for Neeson and Fiennes, who last met at Richardson's New York state funeral in March.
