Celebrities That Turn 40 In 2014

January 1st, 2014 11:00am EST
Leonardo DiCaprio
Happy New Years everyone and welcome to 2014!

It's that time of year for our annual "who is turning 40" this year extravaganza. Truth is, lots of people do, but we'll just keep it to the more famous variety of peeps in the world.

Doing some simple math, 40 years ago would make it 1974.

For those of you who weren't around that year, the mantra of 74' and the world was energy crisis -gasoline was a little hard to get and lines at gas stations were blocks long. Because of the crisis, our then President, Richard "Tricky Dick" Nixon imposed a 55 MPH speed limit on highways. That wasn't the re...

TV on DVD: 'Robot Chicken: Star Wars III'

July 15th, 2011 3:09pm EDT
Robot Chicken
This week, Warner Home Video brings you the next installment in Robot Chicken's successful line of Star Wars parodies: Star Wars III. Join Emperor Palpatine as he narrates another volume in utter craziness across the galaxy. Here's my review.

The Show

I have to admit that before I saw Star Wars III, Robot Chicken had never interested me. The few minutes I saw of it on Adult Swim only confused me. Star Wars III, however, is hilarious. It's head and shoulders above Family Guy: It's A Trap! (which is funny considering that Seth Green was involved in both projects). Both are equally inappr...

J.K. Simmons
Spider-Man and Juno star J.K. Simmons is set to lead the cast of a new The Hangover-esque movie for seniors.

The actor, who played newspaper boss J. Jonah Jameson in all three of Tobey Maguire's webslinger movies, will play a method actor who moves into a residential home to research a character in Geezers.

Co-star Breckin Meyer tells BlogTalkRadio.com, "(He has) to work on an old man character he's about to play... so he moves in. Mayhem ensues with three old guys he meets..."

"It's being described as Cocoon meets Hangover."

'House' Focuses On Personal Relationships

October 1st, 2008 9:25am EDT
House
It is a little startling how easily Michael Weston fits in the cast of "House." Last week he guest starred for the first time as Private Investigator Lucas, and this week in "Adverse Events" he solidified his place on the show as House's new friend and confidante. Is Wilson but a fading memory? There have been rumors that Weston could get his own spin-off if Lucas goes over with the fans. If he is as well written on that show as he is on this, it may just be a success.

Breckin Meyer guest stars as an artist who paints grotesque pictures of people thinking they are perfectly normal. Cl...
