Amy Adams Dazzles At 'Man Of Steel' Premiere - See Pics Of Henry Cavill, Russell Crowe & More!

June 11th, 2013 1:00pm EDT
Amy Adams
Amy Adams rocked the star-studded world premiere of "Man of Steel" at Lincoln Center in New York City on Monday night. The actress wore a strapless black dress with lace side paneling. Her red hair hung to her shoulders in silky waves.

Adams unsuccessfully auditioned for the role of Lois Lane two times before finally landing the part of Clark Kent's love interest in the new film. A version starring Matt Bomer was never made, while 2006's "Superman Returns" featured Brandon Routh as the titular character and Kate Bosworth as Lois.

'True Blood' Recap: 'Authority Always Wins' (Season 5, Episode 2)

June 18th, 2012 9:43pm EDT
Christopher Meloni - True Blood
Last week’s “True Blood” season premiere set up the season nicely. Tara is now a vampire, Bill and Eric are in trouble with the Authority, Jessica is enjoying freedom as a single, maker-less vamp, the werewolves are pissed at Alcide and Terry is letting his past in Iraq make him crazier than we thought he was. Meanwhile, Reverend Steve Newlin is back as a “gay vampire American” with the hots for Jason and we know for sure Russell is on his way back. This should be fun.

So what’s up this week?

Tara has become the Tasmanian Devil She-Vampire. This is the thanks Lafayette and Sookie get fo...

Investigating 'Law & Order: SVU' Star Danny Pino

February 8th, 2012 4:09pm EST
Law & Order: SVU
Law & Order: SVU fans: you landed the best detective working in television.

After seven seasons as a major part of what made Cold Case a cult hit (one that's still talked about two years after its cancellation), Danny Pino has revitalized SVU in its thirteenth season. If anyone could fill the major void left by the departure of series star Christopher Meloni, it was Pino, who created a memorable character of his own in Cold Case's smart and often smart-mouthed Scotty Valens (and stepped in to replace a character on that series as well; current Grey's Anatomy star Justin Chambers had his ...

Jobless Charlie Sheen Is The Highest Paid Man On TV (See Who Else Made Big Bucks)

October 14th, 2011 10:00am EDT
Charlie Sheen
Charlie Sheen has been named the highest paid actor on TV, despite losing his job on "Two And A Half Men."

The star had a public fall-out with the show's creator Chuck Lorre earlier this year following months of bizarre behavior and he was eventually fired in March.

Ashton Kutcher took over the lead role in the hit show, but Sheen still managed to top Forbes.com's recent rich list.

Sheen pulled in earnings of $40 million, making him the highest paid TV actor between May, 2010, and May, 2011.

He is followed by Ray Romano, who earned $20 million for his now axed "Men of A Certain Age."

September 21st, 2011 10:00pm EDT
Law & Order: SVU
NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit had a buzzworthy offseason, and tonight we got our first look at what one could term the 'new' SVU. Somewhat.

Headlines were made when star Christopher Meloni departed the long-running crime drama (although one could argue that it wasn't too shocking, as his dozen years of service were much longer than some entire shows go). It was later announced that his costar Mariska Hargitay was scaling back her commitment, and B.D. Wong left for a role on the new NBC series Awake.

With the moves, the rumblings began - with the axing of the mothership, failur...
