'Perception's' Eric McCormack: 'Some Of Our Strongest' Episodes
TNT's Perception is back to air the final four episodes of its sophomore season, with Dr. Daniel Pierce and his FBI partner Kate Moretti out to close more cases. BFTV spoke last week with series star Eric McCormack, who plays the crazy brilliant Daniel, about the remaining installments and the evolution of Perception.

After all, between the first and second seasons, we see many series find out what works and what doesn't, leading to tweaks and alterations. How has Perception changed over its sophomore cycle? "The biggest change has been introducing Scott Wolf to the show," Eric said, refer...

Judge Overturns Ruling, Allows Eric McCormack's Killer Movie To Air

March 22nd, 2013 10:48am EDT
Eric McCormack
A judge overruled an injunction banning Lifetime bosses from airing a film starring Eric McCormack about a real-life murderer.

Incarcerated killer Christopher Porco filed suit against television execs, claiming "Romeo Killer: The Christopher Porco Story" violated his publicity rights.

Porco, who was found guilty of killing his father Peter and attempting to murder his mother Joan in 2005, believes the film, starring  McCormack, Matt Barr and Lolita Davidovich, contained a "fictionalized account" of the events leading up to his sentencing.

On Tuesday, New York Supreme Court Judge Robert...

Eric McCormack Gives His Insight Into the 'Perception' Finale

September 17th, 2012 11:37am EDT
Eric McCormack
What's got Dr. Daniel Pierce looking so worried? I asked actor Eric McCormack, who plays the crime-solving doc on TNT's freshman drama Perception, for some clues to the show's season finale, what it's like playing a paranoid schizophrenic, and where he'd like to see Pierce and company go in the forthcoming Season 2.

"I was so excited," he said of playing the two-part season ender. "We shot the whole thing like a big movie so it was intense. It was so good to have a character that has these various disorders, conspiracy theories, and is suffering from this condition but we've o...

Debra Messing Has A Joyful Heart

May 6th, 2010 5:15pm EDT
Debra Messing
Debra Messing showed off her sexy side at the Joyful Heart Foundation gala in New York City yesterday. We love her silver sleeveless blouse.

Hilary Swank, Maria Bello and Mariska Hargitay also attended last night's event, which recognized the 15th Anniversary of the Violence Against Women Act.

We may get to see the former "Will And Grace" star back on TV again. She's starring in a new ABC pilot called "Wright v. Wrong." She plays a conservative pundit who, with the help of her eclectic staff, tries to maintain her public persona despite being faced with her vulnerabilities.

Greg Ellis
On the day of this interview Greg Ellis had just learned that his show -- TNT's Eric McCormack, Tom Cavanaugh vehicle, Trust Me -- had been cancelled. Instead of languishing on the demise of his series (in the distance you can hear the sound of about a dozen Trust Me questions being ripped up) we, instead, discussed this upcoming little art-house film he's appearing in, Star Trek. Greg discusses his role as Chief Engineer Olsen -- the man who had the job before a certain Montgomery Scott -- and what it was like working on another small little film, Titanic.

Mike: I've seen every episod...

It is a special night for noted astronomer Ted Lewis (Eric McCormack), who is preparing a special dinner for his beautiful, adoring wife Lana (Jody Thompson) to celebrate their wedding anniversary. HBO has lost many of the signature shows that made it a household name. The Sopranos, Sex and the City, Six Feet Under - they were all instrumental in defining HBO as the channel for daring, intelligent and mature programming. But don't write off the channel just yet. While its new series don't quite match the ...
