Seth MacFarlane
Seth MacFarlane spoke out over the recent episode of his hit show, Family Guy, which someone re-edited and posted to YouTube in order to make it appear that it predicted Monday's fatal bombings at the Boston Marathon.

"The edited Family Guy clip currently circulating is abhorrent," MacFarlane said via Twitter on Tuesday. "The event was a crime and a tragedy, and my thoughts are with the victims."

Fox pulled the episode from future airings and also removed it from TV streaming website Hulu.com because the show, which originally aired on March 17, includes a scene in which protagonist Peter...

Seth MacFarlane: Unrestrained Humor, Self-Indulgent Routines Win At The Oscars

February 25th, 2013 11:17am EST
Seth MacFarlane
Seth MacFarlane defended his performance as Oscar host just as it began.

In his opening monologue, Seth was interrupted by William Shatner in full Captain Kirk regalia, who went back in time to warn him that he would be dragged through the coals for his sophomoric humor. In reality, that's just what critics are bashing Seth for today.

To be fair to Seth, he certainly held himself back from the more devastating humor he has shown in his animated series Family Guy, American Dad, and The Cleveland Show. The jokes that were like re-written for the show lacked punch coming from Seth's mouth.

Review: 'Ted' Makes It Cute To Be Crass

June 29th, 2012 11:30am EDT
Ted
At first glance, the premise seems as dumb as…oh…I don’t know, a vampire killing president or Mel Gibson’s relations with a puppet. However, the difference with this piece is Seth MacFarlane! Need I say more? The “Family Guy” and “American Dad” creator carries lots of testicular weight as he juggles many hats on his very first feature film. Going all the way with this cuddly, yet crude R-rated comedy, MacFarlane’s humoristic genius flares like a pack of raging hemorrhoids!

Let's make one thing clear: “Ted” may seem cutesy with a teddy bear and Marky Mark, but the truth is it’s not the type...

Seth MacFarlane is "secretly hoping" fans will grow tired of his animated hit "Family Guy" because he believes the show should have ended several series ago.
