'The Help' Cast To Be Honored At Hollywood Film Awards

The star-studded cast of hit movie The Help will reunite to accept an ensemble honor at the upcoming Hollywood Film Awards.

Viola Davis, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jessica Chastain, Octavia Spencer and Emma Stone will be together onstage to pick up the Ensemble Award at the 15th annual ceremony, which kicks off the film awards season.

The leading ladies of the drama will be joined by fellow cast members Allison Janney, Chris Lowell, Ahna O'Reilly, Sissy Spacek, Mary Steenburgen and Cicely Tyson, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

It's been said that a TV show is only as good as the characters that occupy it. During the first season of series, the writers introduce us to certain main characters that the show is going to revolve around. Once a season ends and a new one is about to start all bets are off because the writers don't want to see the ratings drop.

Their solution? Bring in new characters.

Today is the first day of spring. The temperature is rising, birds are singing, and the excuse that you needed the extra weight for winter padding is becoming less believable. These signs point to the change of seasons, and more importantly, the coming of spring.

'Private Practice' Falls Short Of Its Potential

When ABC announced that the extremely popular show "Grey's Anatomy" was to have an official spin-off, starring the lovely Kate Walsh as the tragically flawed but brilliant Addison Montgomery, fans had mixed reactions.

A two-part episode named "The Other Side Of This Life" aired during the third season of "Grey's Anatomy" to give the viewers a taste of what was to come. "Private Practice" debuted on September 26, 2007, and had nine episodes before the writers' strike put a halt on production.

Stephen McPherson, president, ABC Entertainment, today outlined ABC's plans for next season and unveiled the network's 2007-08 fall schedule. Scheduled to debut next season are four new comedy series: "Carpoolers," "Cavemen," "Miss/Guided" and "Sam I Am"; along with seven new drama series: "Big Shots," "Cashmere Mafia," "Dirty Sexy Money," "Eli Stone," "Private Practice," "Pushing Daisies" and "Women's Murder Club." Alternative series "Oprah's Big Give(tm)" is also slated to debut.
