Actor Rob Lowe re-enacted a disastrous kissing scene he had with Jewel after revealing the singer was reluctant to lock lips with him while filming their 2003 TV series The Lyon's Den.

In his new memoir, Love Life, the St. Elmo's Fire hunk admits his worst experience with an onscreen love interest came during the short-lived legal drama, which only ran for six episodes.

Actor Rob Lowe turned down the chance to play a leading role in hit TV medical series Grey'S Anatomy to star in the short-lived drama Dr. Vegas.

Sex Tape is a new comedy which stars Lowe as a company CEO who accidentally gets hold of a video of Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel's characters' bedroom antics.

Earlier this year, The West Wing star published his memoir, Stories I Only Tell My Friends, and the book went on to win critical acclaim on the New York Times bestseller list.
