Jon Lovitz-SGG-099702.jpg
Actor and comedian Jon Lovitz was last seen in the movie Casino Jack. He is now speaking out publicly about his personal experience with the chronic, autoimmune disease psoriasis, which he has been living with for the past ten years.

August happens to be Psoriasis Awareness Month and he's continuing to spread the word about the disease through an education campaign called Are You Serious? which includes PSAs and a web-based song parody to illustrate the challenges of living with psoriasis. This is also to reinforce the importance of having open and honest dialogue about the disease with a...

Jon Lovitz
Since his run on Saturday Night Live in the late 80's, Jon Lovitz has been a prolific comedian in both TV and film. As he gears up to appear on TV Land's original series Hot In Cleveland on March 9, Jon was kind enough to sit down with me to discuss that upcoming role as well as the lengthy and varied career he's made out of making us laugh.

Let's start with what's coming up: tell us about your role on Hot In Cleveland. What can we expect to see from you in that episode?

I play a homeless guy, and I meet Jane Leeves' character.

What's it like to work with that cast? All the actresse...

A Conversation with 'Lie To Me' Star Monica Raymund

February 4th, 2009 10:49am EST
Monica Raymund
(TJAGS is a weekly column) Every year I try to pick a new drama to watch and make it my "new show" that I follow for the season. This does not always work out (see: Love Monkey and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip). I had decided that Lie to Me was going to be this year's show, based mainly on my appreciation for Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction). Due to circumstances, I was out of town and I never got a chance to watch the two episodes I had recorded on DVR when, coincidentally, I was contacted and asked if I wanted to speak to one of the stars, Monica Raymund. I agreed, of course, and ...

The 10 Greatest Cast Members Of 'Saturday Night Live'

April 7th, 2008 2:30pm EDT
Eddie Murphy
Live from New York, it's Saturday Night! These seven words have been shouted from Studio 8H of Rockefeller Center since Lorne Michaels created "Saturday Night Live" in 1975. The original name of the show was simply "Saturday Night" because at the time ABC had a show entitled "Saturday Night Live with Howard Cosell."

Choosing 10 of the show's best cast members is not a task to be taken lightly. We looked at what qualities go into making a perfect cast member as opposed to just picking performers who went on to greater fame after they left the show (though sometimes this happened anyw...

TV On DVD Recommendation: 'Newsradio'

February 15th, 2008 4:28pm EST
Newsradio
The third-best comedy of the 1990s (behind "The Simpsons" and "Seinfeld"), "Newsradio" is also one of its least-remembered and lowest-rated despite being granted a lengthy five-season run. This is mostly due to the fact that the show had its airtime or airdate changed a staggering 11 times during its run. But now that all the episodes are available on DVD, you won't have to worry about not knowing when it's on.

Set in the offices of fictional New York radio station WNYX, "Newsradio" details the wacky goings-on among the staff. The cast is filled with comedic stars led by Dave Foley ...
