Comedian Katt Williams was arrested in Los Angeles this week after pulling a gun on Faizon Love, according to the actor.

Love called in to gossip show TMZ Live on Friday to allege he was targeted by Williams outside Supperclub in Hollywood on Tuesday.

A friend of the actor is said to have snatched the weapon, only to discover it was unloaded, but cops later arrested Williams over a possible gun violation.

He was subsequently released from custody, and Love insists he feared for his life during the drama because he believed the troubled funnyman was under the influence.

Faizon Love -- who voices Bruce the Bear in the upcoming travesty "Zookeeper" -- was arrested early Friday morning for domestic violence ... TMZ has learned.

According to jail records, Love was booked into custody at 9:07 AM PT Friday.

What's interesting ... even though jail records indicate he was arrested for fourth degree domestic assault -- the lowest DV charge there is -- bail has been denied and Love is still in custody.

Love is currently on probation for assault and that could by why he's been denied bail.

Love's attorney had no comment.

Former model Irina Krupnik claimed a snap of her in a bikini, used by one of the film's characters as a sexual aid, is actually a shot she sold to a picture agency in 2001.

Actor Faizon Love has been charged with felony assault following a fight outside a Hollywood hotel last month. The Cuban-born Friday star, real name Langston Faizon Santisima, is accused of hitting a man after he was turned away from a nightclub inside The Standard hotel in Los Angeles on January 7.

Faizon, 40, had left the scene before cops arrived, but he was later booked and released on $30,000 bail.

He faces four years in prison if convicted.
