As a film junkie and music geek I always look forward to seeing what songs directors will put in certain scenes to create the right mood. Finding the perfect song isn't always easy. The song has to fit that key moment or it could ruin the movie.

Following is a list of songs that have really made a movie scene stand out. I'm sure you will notice two things about me: I love chick flicks and 80's movies. This wasn't an easy task. I found over 50 songs and cut the list down to 15 with a few honorable mentions.

Katie Holmes has turned down a $2 million deal to star in the sequel to Batman Begins. The actress was expected to reprise her role as Rachel Dawes alongside caped crusader Christian Bale for Batman: The Dark Knight but has pulled out because of "scheduling conflicts".

Survey Says 'Crash' Should Win Best Picture

According to a new Harris poll, 20 percent of U.S. adults say Crash should win the Best Picture Oscar this year. Only 13 percent believe Brokeback Mountain should win, followed by 10 percent who each say Good Night and Good Luck and Munich should take home the award. The fifth nominee Capote has the support of just 4 percent of adults.
